walked into the cinema after a LONG ass day at work and had absolutely no idea what Hokum was about. and honestly, one of the best decision i made that day bcz this movie stressed me the hell out :) the plot is actually pretty simple. almost predictable. but the way it executes every scare is SO damn effective that i was locked in the entire time. the tension builds so naturally that i spent half the movie holding my breath without realizing it. no random cheap jumpscares. no horror equivalent of jingling keys in front of your face. every scare feels earned. the pacing is tight, the atmosphere is suffocating, the score is evil, and adam scott's character annoyed me on a spiritual level, everything works together so perfectly that i was uncomfortable from start to finish. congratulations to adam scott for creating one of the most annoying men i've seen on screen this year. incredible performance. easily one of the best horror films of 2026 so far. simple story, effective scares, zero wasted momentum. this movie had me stressed out for 90 minutes straight and i loved every second of it. 10/10 experience. would absolutely let this movie ruin my peace again.

i finally sat down and listened to this album properly and oh my god... this might be my favorite NMIXX comeback ever. Crescendo and Heavy Serenade genuinely left me speechless. like i'm not even exaggerating when i say i got a little emotional reading the lyrics because ??? hello??? why??? is this??? so beautiful??? :') the amount of korean lyrics in Heavy Serenade alone... i mean... i think THIS is the k-pop we've been waiting for. a k-pop song that doesn't sound like it was manufactured specifically for tiktok trends feels like finding a gem these days. everything about this comeback feels so theatrical and cinematic. the transitions, the layering, the harmonies, the way the song keeps building and exploding into something bigger and bigger... it feels magical. ethereal even. also can we talk about how refreshing it is hearing a title track that actually prioritizes storytelling and atmosphere? like you can FEEL their passion. the whole thing about Crescendo and Heavy Serenade really gave me the exact same feeling i had when i first heard Cosmic by Red Velvet. that weird dreamy overwhelming feeling where the song feels larger than life and suddenly you're just sitting there staring at the ceiling at 2am (ik its not 2am yet). and the fact the members participated in writing too... yeah you can tell. this album feels personal. people used to drag NMIXX because their songs sounded too confusing but now it genuinely feels like they finally mastered their own identity. idk i'm obsessed.

finally tried this newly opened cafe that apparently has already existed in a bunch of other cities for a while. first off, the place is actually WFCable for real 🤤👍. the place is comfy, the vibes are calm, the seats are surprisingly laptop friendly, and the coffee is cheap too???!! wow?!?!? kinda dangerous for me financially because i just know i'll keep coming back here 😺☝️. and the cute part is they sell something called 'dopang' 😭🥯. like… a donut but the name being dopang took me OUT. cute ass name FR. the only downside is it gets kinda hot in the afternoon but honestly i think that's just Surabaya being Surabaya wkwk.

i feel like if Deep Roast Oolong Milk Tea by Teazzi was a person… he'd be that calm, composed guy. deep voice, lowkey intimidating, but actually really grounding. the kind that doesn't talk much, but when he does... you listen. warm, steady, a little mysterious. and if Choco Mochi Bites by AEON were a person… he'd be the opposite. soft, sweet, a little playful. the type to smile easily, kinda clingy in a cute way, but still knows exactly how to get your attention. and for some reason… it feels like there's something going on between the three of us. Me, Teazzi, and Mochi. okay delusional, sorry. anyway, yeah. it's really good. you should try it, don't forget. p.s. i love Teazzi so much. i even have the loyalty card… and i'm already level 2 (each level is like 20 stamps)

used to watch The Devil Wears Prada a long time ago but barely remembered anything. rewatched it because the sequel is coming and wow… this movie hits so different now. back then i thought it was just about fashion and a scary boss. now it feels like… a whole identity crisis in heels. like how easy it is to slowly lose yourself while trying to keep up, to fit in, to be good enough. and miranda... she used to feel like a villain. now she feels more like a product of the world she's in like cold, sharp, but also… kinda lonely? idk, it's weirdly sad once you look past the surface. and andy… yeah. i get her now. the pressure, the ambition, the way she keeps saying 'it’s just a job' while it clearly starts becoming more than that. also can we talk about how effortlessly iconic everything is??? the outfits, the lines, the energy. like yeah, it's stylish, but it's also suffocating in a very quiet way. overall, it's not just a 'fun fashion movie' it's lowkey about sacrifice, identity, and figuring out where to draw the line before you stop recognizing yourself. kinda scary. kinda real. still iconic.

sumpah ini salah satu film yang ANEH banget yang gue tonton 😭. kaya instead of ngasih cerita yang gamblang, mereka nyampein semuanya dengan cara yang beda. visualnya estetik tapi tetap liar, koreografi transenya chaotic in a good way, dan musiknya bener-bener narik gue masuk ke dalam suasana. kayak... ikut pesta yang sama. ini setting desanya fiktif, honestly geographically confusing, tapi aksen mereka justru kerasa banget. kaya campuran bekasi, depok, jawa, betawi. kerasa banget kalau Laksmi (Maudy) dan Bayu (Angga) beda daerah asal. emang kayanya film ini sulit diterima semua orang. ritmenya di awal agak lambat, dan level anehnya bisa bikin sebagian penonton butuh waktu buat klik. beberapa teknis kurang rapih, tapi kayanya itu daya tariknya. dan dibalik semua keanehan itu, film ini surprisingly hangat. endingnya juga cukup satisfying. overall, ini tipe film yang lebih terasa sebagai experience dan ide liar si wregas aja daripada sekadar tontonan. aneh, meriah, sedikit chaos, tapi justru itu yang bikin nempel. kalau lagi bosan sama formula film yang gitu-gitu aja, Para Perasuk is worth diving into. preferably di bioskop biar sekalian ikut kerasukan.

ABSOLUTE CINEMA!!! 👎👎👎 honestly, the world needs more movies like this. it’s the kind of story that gives you actual hope in the middle of total uncertainty. it respects the audience's intelligence without being 'snobby' about it, prioritizing heart over empty spectacles. i lost count of how many times i went from laughing out loud to sitting there jaw dropped, and eventually just sobbing. its such a fun, heartwarming ride, which is wild considering how depressing the premise actually is. ​the chemistry between the two leads is everything. watching them communicate through translation software was so charming, and grace's mission had me holding my breath like i was right there in the vacuum of space with him. there's this one magical shot where red light hits him as he faces a planet, its pure cinema. in that moment, for the first time in forever, he actually looked alive. ​but the real soul of the movie is the human connection. it's peak "we found love in a hopeless place." grace is this lonely, misunderstood guy who finds a literal lifeline in rocky... an alien that looks like a rock but has more heart than most humans (shoutout to the amazing puppet and animatronic work here). their bond is a beautiful reminder that magic happens when you least expect it, especially when you've given up on everything except being kind. we love you rocky, statement.

Sebuah kapsul waktu yang dibungkus dengan kepolosan. Nonton Na Willa rasanya kaya mengintip album foto lama yang tiba-tiba bergerak dan bersuara. Penggunaan aspek rasio dan palet warnanya memberikan tekstur kerinduan yang nyata. Nyata bukan cuma buat mereka yang hidup di era itu, tapi buat siapa pun yang pernah jadi anak kecil yang mencoba memahami dunia orang dewasa. ​Keindahan film ini ada pada detail-detail kecil: aroma dapur, bunyi gesekan sandal, dan logika khas anak-anak yang jujur. Sebuah perayaan atas memori yang sederhana namun sangat membekas. Sinema Indonesia butuh lebih banyak cerita sejuk seperti ini. Terima kasih, Na Willa, sudah menyembuhkan sesuatu di dalam diriku yang aku nggak tahu ternyata aku butuh.

that's how you write an ending, honestly. bittersweet as it is, Baek Ahjin deserved to be the one who made it to the end. Dear X gave us an incredibly written female character and actually let her win right until the very last moment. what makes the ending hit even harder is how Episode 1 and Episode 12 mirror each other so perfectly. Ahjin ends exactly where she started. stuck in the same cycle, forced to relive the same misery over and over again. every time she thinks she's finally made it to the top, life drags her right back to the beginning. and god... Kim Yoojung absolutely killed this role. i genuinely didn't expect her to portray Baek Ahjin this well. the way she carried Ahjin's pain, rage, manipulation, emptiness, and desperation felt way too real at times. this drama is honestly exhausting in the best and worst way possible. not because it's bad, but because it demands so much emotional energy from you. there's a reason even the cast had psychologists on set because some scenes are genuinely hard to sit through. episode 11 especially felt mentally draining from start to finish. at least for me, some parts hit a little too close to home. Baek Ahjin really feels like a portrayal of what happens when depression rots into something destructive and manipulative. Dear X doesn't romanticize trauma at all. it forces you to sit with it, watch it spiral, and deal with the consequences alongside the characters. i'm usually not a fan of open endings, but this drama somehow became an exception. everything about it landed perfectly for me. the storyline, the performances, the characters, the symbolism... all of it. lowkey one of the best K-Dramas of the year fr 🫶🧎‍♀️‍➡️ also kinda funny how this drama moved me enough to actually edit and write my review because i’m usually too lazy to do that after finishing a series 😭
