this has been one of my all time favorite movies for years now. I got to see it in theaters for the first time tonight. so beautiful and sad. I think about this story often.

probably my second favorite 1975 album it was really pivotal to me when I was experiencing grief and trying to move through it while also unpacking how religion impacted that process. absolutely stunning

iconic no skips wonderful and still relevant this caused big drama in my house when it came out bc my mom wouldn’t buy me unedited CDs but I begged and begged for months until she gave in. she made me promise not to take it to school but it was absolutely in my portable CD player the next morning.

impeccable pop album about the relationships we have with each as facilitated through the internet. it's sad and fun and dancey and mellow but still feels cohesive. fav tracks: how to draw / peteichor love it if we made it I like America and America likes me mine I couldn't be more in love

My grandma took me to the city two hours away to see this in theaters when it came out because that was the closest place showing it. It was magical for me then as someone obsessed with the music and how it played against the turmoil of the 1960s. It's magical to me now for the same reasons.
