this, to me, is a prime example of a perfected bottled up movie identity in a form of a sound. right from hearing the first note, i can pull up and play that specific sequence in my head - joan & luke literally walking down their memory lanes, oh so vividly. one moment they were hand in hand, smiling at each other sheepishly. the next, they were scared, angry, defeated, with tears in their eyes. so hopeful but so so soul-crushing at the same time. ugh i could write essays about this.

i am a mess. wow the last few episodes were too much. i am way too frail for this. i don't know what to say. i can't form words. i can't conjure a thought. everything hurts so good. to think that i was fighting the urge of dropping this at the beginning??? so glad i pulled through. a rare gem, this one is. some haunting scenes from my last night watch: - kit walking away at the church (oh. my. god. he was cold cold in this). - the last page of the sketchbook (gaves me major throwback to that our beloved summer scene, all i did is wept and wept and wept and wept some more). - the tickets in hand (hahahaha the way i had to pause and recollect myself at this).

so glad i'm doing this reread party because it made me realize how much details i've forgotten or even missed on my first read. made me rethink my life choices too; perhaps doing it on a monday is not very wise of me afterall. now my adrenaline is running at an all-time high, my palms are in a constant clammy state, truly a miracle my kobo hasn't slipped out of my hands yet 🫠🥲

aww the first kiss was everythinggggg. tbh all of their firsts were so cute; the uncertainty, the shyness, the eagerness shared between them were so palpable. i also like how they don’t necessarily fit into the typical nerdy girl/misfit jock-ish boy tropes of standard romcoms. they didn’t limit themselves into those mold, they actually have real personality in this!

might be a hot take, but experiment 4 is easily my favorite so far hahaha. the twists?? and turns?? everyone’s dynamics?? everythingggggg was so fun to watch!!! highkey can’t wait for the finale to air. lowkey regret binging it hhhh thought today they’ll wrap it up but from the way they kept things hanging i feel like there’ll be probably 2 more eps instead of 1. 😂😭 anywaysss, my current ranking of the experiments: 4 > 2 > 1 > 3. praying to dear gods 4 wouldn’t pull a 2 at the end 😔🤸
