Now, let's talk about Sion
Before I do, I need to talk about NCT WISH first. The group debuted in February 2024, but at the time, I wasn't paying much attention to them. I was still completely focused on Mark. In my mind, there was no room for anyone else
Then one day, while scrolling through a SBT community, a photocard suddenly caught my eye. The strange thing was, I had absolutely no idea who the person in it was
I stared at it for a moment, trying to figure out why he looked so unfamiliar. That's when I remembered that NCT had recently debuted a new unit called NCT WISH. I assumed he must be one of the members, but that was all I knew. I didn't know his name, and I knew almost nothing about him
But for some reason, I couldn't stop looking at it. I'm being completely serious when I say that it grabbed my attention instantly. It was the very definition of a "handsome piece of paper" 🫠
At one point, I even considered buying it. But then I stopped myself. Why would I buy a photocard of someone I didn't even know?
So I convinced myself to forget about it and kept scrolling. Unfortunately, the more I scrolled, the more I thought about it. And the more I thought about it, the more I wanted it. At that point, I had to ask myself a very important question: What on earth was happening to me? Was I under some kind of spell? :)
I SWEAR, I couldn't get it out of my head. The more I tried to ignore it, the more I wanted it. I even started worrying that someone else would buy it first
Eventually, I gave in and bought it...
Looking back, that was probably the moment everything started. What was supposed to be a simple photocard purchase led me to searching for Sion, watching NCT WISH content, and learning more about the group 🩵
Before I knew it, I had fallen right into the Sion rabbit hole 🐰🌷
It's funny to think that it all started with a single photocard. And yes, after Mark, Sion became my next idol 😆
