im gonna be honest im not 100% of my interpretation of the whole “sailor” metaphor in terms of “kiss me like sailor” is it bc sailors are often not in one place for very long so there’s something desperate and “all in” abt the way that sailors love/kiss?? idk that’s always been my interpretation but someone pls correct me it’s still a soul crushing song and gigi always bringing religion into her songs makes me want to cry!!!!!

ABSOLUTE CINEMA!!! such the right amount of magic plot that isn’t too much that it takes away from the main plot but also not too little that it’s like “why even there??” i’m in love with the characters and the plot it’s so beautiful and they do such a good job of wrapping it up neatly in the 12 episodes allotted

have u ever seen THE club scene in every gay movie where the disco lights are flashing and the two leads lock eyes in slow mo across the room??? yeah that scene but it being the first time they see each other after their tragic break up is what i imagine this song to be. the lights are very much this song!! i love dancing to this song while singing abt being lonely asf!! i love screaming the line below with a big smile on my face!!

got coconut from a street vendor and we got it with lime, chamuy (ITS WRONG SPELLING I KNOW ITS THE RED SAUCE GUYS), y tajin. it was my first time trying the last two and lowkey bus. still has a small kick but not too much where it upset my tummy or made it painful. plus it added to the coconut cause on its own it wasn’t super flavorful. i knew it was bus cause the bees were FLOCKED at this vendor

not too much flavor while the tomato also shining through which the egg mixing in so well especially cause the tortilla soaks up both the yolk and the tomato
