It feels like modern Dr.House in the best way possible. The characters grew on me, they're all relatable in one way or another. I'm hoping it continues to be as good through the next two seasons. I'm slowly working on my trypanophobia.

absolutely stomach churning, it holds the audience by the throat and only lets them breathe during the finale my only problem is the police clownery (common in Korean crime movies) which sticks out like a sore thumb in the overall seriousness of the plot

great horror, it's psychotic and theatrical some scares were predictable tho and the story of Hansel and Gretel seemed to have no real purpose

2nd watch ft. my gf, I adore the atmosphere and the characters, IDOL has been running in my veins for weeks after the first watch I wish the pacing was a bit slower tho

Rewatched and it remains very interesting and tense. The plot doesn't drag and I really like the fact that the fights don't give off that choreographed feeling. As of historical accuracy I lack the expertise to comment but nothing seemed jarring.

I was pleasantly surprised by overall mythological accuracy. Some liberties were taken but in most cases got replaced by an homage to the original counterpart, which I much appreciate. The movie is strictly realistic, there are no supernatural elements and hence it made me feel more connected to the characters. There are some memorable shots and finally – they made ancient Greece colourful again. I so wish more people talked about this movie instead of the catastrophe of Nolan's creation.

A solid suspenseful experience. I enjoyed the spiritual mixture much more in here than in Wailing, and the stakes seemed to be somewhat greater, maybe because of the overall more serious tone. My only complaint is the second part of the movie which feels really slow-paced for a resolution sequence
