absolutely stomach churning, it holds the audience by the throat and only lets them breathe during the finale my only problem is the police clownery (common in Korean crime movies) which sticks out like a sore thumb in the overall seriousness of the plot

A solid suspenseful experience. I enjoyed the spiritual mixture much more in here than in Wailing, and the stakes seemed to be somewhat greater, maybe because of the overall more serious tone. My only complaint is the second part of the movie which feels really slow-paced for a resolution sequence
