i watched this on a whim without any prior knowledge about it and i wouldn't have expected it to be one of my newest comfort films 🥹 the overall vibes of this film is just so light and everything looked so fun i felt like i was having fomo. there's something so endearing about seeing girls just having the time of their lives being determined and passionate to do something for themselves while also having fun together and the way son experienced all of those just because she tried to do something that's out of her comfort zone despite the language barrier. there were times where a bit of misfortune falls upon them but they don't dwell on it, they just do what it takes to get back on track and they all do it together. these girls reminded me of what a genuine friendship feels like...we'll mess up during practices and we'll almost miss an important event because we're all sleepy but at the end of the day we're all just gonna laugh about it. so yeah i love love love this film so much i feel like watching this healed something within me :') i've always wanted to form an all girls band with my friends during high school, i wanted us to perform the songs that we like and just have fun while practicing together but even if we didn't get to do it i'm so glad son, kei, nozomi, and kyoko got to do it together. i love these girls so much really...i would definitely rewatch this 😭😭 there really is beauty in this world that can't be photographed 🫶

i'm really surprised that i loved this one because although i'm a big fan of time travel stuff i don't really like historical settings (ik it's ironic) BUT wow this is so good i'm so glad i binged this 2 days before the final ep bc if i waited for the update every week i would've gone crazy bc of the cliff hangers anyway i love love love phopklao and i'm so happy they got their happy ending same with jomkaew/theepun 🥺🥺🥺
