Wonderful Nightmare
영화 / TV
i am not romanticizing a life of poverty, nor do i dream of living one. i simply long for a life that is neither too rich nor too poor. but by the warmth that fills a home, the love that asks for nothing in return, the care found even in ordinary days, and the humility that keeps people grounded. hindi man ganon kayaman, pero ang bawat pagod, bawat sakripisyo, at bawat araw na inilalaban para lamang may maihain sa hapag at may maibigay sa pamilya ay sapat nang kayamanan. because to me, wealth has never been measured by the size of a house or the amount of money someone owns, but by the kind of home that makes you feel safe enough to come back to. if love alone were the measure of being rich, then perhaps some of the simplest homes would be overflowing with more wealth than the grandest mansions. there is something irreplaceable about the quiet tenderness of a parent checking if you've eaten, the warmth of a hand that comforts you without saying a word, or the small sacrifices they make without ever asking for recognition. those moments seem ordinary while they're happening, yet they become the most extraordinary memories once time has passed. and when the people who gave you that love are no longer beside you, it doesn't disappear with them. it lingers in the way you speak, the way you care for others, the way you continue to love despite everything. because the gentlest kind of love never truly leaves—it quietly becomes a part of who you are.

Ticket to Heaven
영화 / TV
this ep had me anxious from beginning to end 😢 coz gurl watching tanrak shake from fear and guilt was heartbreaking. it felt so real talaga kahit ako kinabahan. he's so terrified that everyone will find out na may something sakanila ni barth, and that fear is slowly consuming him then the scene tanrak burned the notebook... goosebumps. he was so scared that he didn't hesitate to get it and burn it. that notebook wasn't just filled with their conversations—it held memories and feelings that meant everything to them. so watching him burn it felt like he was trying to erase a part of himself, hoping it would make everything easier, kahit kitang kita naman na it was breaking him inside... TAPOS ETO PA KDBAODKOABWONA yung confession niya kay father HUHU tanrak asked if God would forgive him if he broke up with barth, and that question alone showed how deeply conflicted he is. he didn't ask that question to seek advice, he was desperately searching for a way to escape the guilt that's been weighing on him you guys this episode honestly left me scared, anxious, and emotionally drained. kada scene made me worry for tanrak and barth, and knowing how much they're both suffering made everything even harder to watch. hindi ko kinaya yung ep na 'to jusq

the scene where barth's father found out that he is gay was heartbreaking because it showed how deeply words can wound when they come from the people who are supposed to love and protect you... being treated as if his identity was something that needed to be "fixed" and be considered as "curse" and "illness" left barth carrying not only the pain of rejection but also the burden of questioning his own worth. and what struck me most was that barth’s loss of faith came from hurt, not rebellion. he prayed for freedom not just for himself, but for his mother as well—hoping that their situation would somehow change. when nothing seemed to happen, he began to feel abandoned and unheard... his disbelief reflects the exhaustion of someone who kept searching for hope and justice but struggled to find them in the silence.

"humans can live without faith. humans can live without hope. but humans cannot live without love." choosing a different path doesn't mean you're walking away from God. sometimes, it's the path that leads you closer to the love He created for you. you don't have to choose between loving God and loving yourself or others. love was never meant to divide us—it was meant to bring us closer to Him. "but the greatest of these is love." not because faith and hope are unimportant, but because love is the foundation of both. It is through love that we learn forgiveness, find healing, and discover God in the most unexpected places. loving yourself isn't selfish. loving someone with same gender isn't a betrayal of your faith. real love, the kind that asks us to understand, sacrifice, and care, has always been one of the clearest ways we experience God's presence. thank you, BarthTanrak, for reminding us that heaven isn't only a destination we're waiting for—sometimes, it's found in the way we choose to love while we're still here. and maybe that's what God wanted us to understand all along: we don't have to choose between Him and love, because wherever genuine love exists, His presence is already there.
