ended up falling sick today. I was trying to allow my immune system deal with it cause I was broke but I ended up buying some drugs after I started to break down. I had a lot to do today but because I was so fatigued I just ended up reading and watching YouTube videos. I bought soju the other day and I decided to try it out with my roommate.bwe both didn't like it and at the end of the day I ended up drinking most of the drink myself. the taste was too bitter even regular ol beer tasted better I managed to finish more than half of the bottle and remained it for my other roommate. I feel a bit tipsy that's all because I'm normally a light weight but I'm better now. today was fun and a bonding experience between her and I. PS I know I'm not supposed to drink alcohol while treating myself but I just became impatient :(

It was better than I expected. The beginning can be a bit slow but it's just a way to get you ready for the whirlwind of emotions you'll feel at the middle and ending. This story was so sad😭😭 if I was in his shoes I think I would just kill myself because what type of bad luck is that? I also loved the use of Igbo mythology here it was so good My mother and I bonded over it 🤭

we had our class party today and it was actually very Fun although some parts were boring I think it was more on me than them. we were divided into groups ( and my group won🤭) all my friends came to the party but they were there to meet other friends so I spent majority of it alone or walking around and sometimes engaging in conversation with some people. I thought about dancing and after throwing a few moves I became too embarrassed I didn't even know the songs they were playing or the moves they were dancing so I had to go sit down but all in all I actually did have fun and watching as majority of our class (or maybe half? 68 out of 149 seems small idk) come together and have fun and be genuinely nice to each other was really cool to see. The best part was me looking good though and the compliments I got🤭🤭 Thank God I left early cause immediately I stepped into my hostel it began to rain🙁 Today was a good day and I know tomorrow will be better.

I really love the cinematography you can really feel the oppressive atmosphere. I still don't really don't know what drove the girls to suicide but I loved the story leading up to that.

I failed to really get into the frank ocean hype of previous years. I like his songs but this song really spoke to me I don't know, I feel weird about it

The books kinda follows the life of two bullied middle schoolers and how they become friends. It's kinda sad but interesting to read but I started getting pulled out of it by Kojima's outlook on them being bullied. Unfortunately I found it hard to relate with Kojima and her ideas about the world especially that part of letting it all happen and weakness is strength; I really dislike such an idea because it is such a bad philosophy to have but I can't really blame her I think she says those things to cope. Her philosophy also is opposite to Momose's own. I also didn't like the fixation she had with his eyes too. Momose's dialogue about how them being bullied is a Coincidence and doing what you want to do because you can or can't to me is a childish way of thinking but I know a few people (or maybe more) who think and live life that way. The lack of empathy from Momose was surprising cause from the beginning I thought he would be one of those characters that joined in on the bullying cause they were afraid of being bullied themselves but nope he's just like that. I also don't know what the ending meant with his eye and stuff. I felt bad for the protagonist and Kojima and all they had to face because of "coincidence". I'm also sad they never got to see heaven. Bullying sucks :(

Today was good actually I woke up feeling a melancholic laced happiness? knowing that I was finally going back to school but I wasn't going to see my mum and my sisters for a long time🙁 it makes me sad leaving but I have to grow I can't remain in the same place forever. I know some day we will be close to each other again and we will go on vacations and be neighbors and we'll be happy but for us to achieve that dream we must be successful hopefully it'll eventually become a reality. My Mum drove my sister and I to the bus that will take us directly to school and I was able to carry the two bags my friends said I should carry for them after some stressful hours on the bus we arrived in school. He dropped of my sister first then I. I had some trouble with the porter because she thought I was carrying contraband but it was quickly resolved. I then entered my room and arranged my stuff and spent the whole day lounging around. I saw some of my friends today and they were happy to see me🤭 I'm thinking of going for posting tomorrow but I haven't made up my mind yet. Anyways enough yappin today was a good day and hopefully Tomorrow's going to be better ✨

heartbreaking but realistic. we've all seen a Haemi at least once in our lives. she made what society ( including me) would call "the right choice" and it still ended badly for her ( not like kyunghwan was any better). the ending made me tear up a bit

I could feel nothing but anger towards this movie. the town could never accept her until they completely broke her down and deemed her not a threat. This movie is so frustrating but I liked it

it was really good I loved the complex dynamic between Art, Patrick and Tashi.

I really liked this although it had its flaws. I feel bad for Korede as she's forever her sister pawn now however I do not feel bad for Tade he had multiple warnings from the person closest to Ayoola and still pursued her he had it coming and he has himself to blame at least he left with his life.

today was definitely.... something. Nothing really out of the ordinary happened just had a conversation with someone that made me feel icky. I hate discussing politics with anyone especially when it involves to women and feminism so talking about it with someone so ingrained in misogyny really irks me like I had to take a shower and sleep it off because of how icky it made me feel. I listened to lots of music today so that's a plus
