Actually I can say the ending of this film is a happy ending. Well, walaupun diakhir film kehidupan si Srintil seem semrawut, but she lives the life sebagai Ronggeng, yang dimana menjadi seorang ronggeng itu mimpinya since she was kid. She really the person she wants to be. And for Rasus, he deserves his life... even tho he's still jadi tentara setelah dia menyaksikan sendiri kekejaman negara kepada rakyat apalagi di desa nya yang tidak tau menahu malapetaka apa yang telah mereka lakukan sehingga mereka berakhir dieksekusi tanpa diadili terlebih dahulu, but same like warga di desa Dukuh Paruk, Rasus doesn't really know what actually happened dan keliatan nya bahkan sampai diakhir film juga dia not really know, or maybe, pada akhirnya dia tau but emang ga ditunjukin di dalam film? And for knowing that, I need to read the book tho

Ga pernah gagal sih film nya Joko Anwar ini. It's not that horror film yang people, ordinary people though about. This film is so extra ordinary!!! Ngeframing cara manusi berpikir dan memanifeatasikan nya. It's all about human beings.

I know metamorphosis from the book actually, walaupun belum baca isi bukunya. I bet every scene di film ini hanya garis besar dari isi bukunya sendiri. Even so, this short film bagus banget sih. Dan masih menjadi misteri buatku di akhir scene dari film ini. I need to read the book deh kalau gini. Oiya, film nya 10/10.
