this story is heavy and in-depth when it comes to its plot, and that's what makes this manhwa one of the best. the romance almost feels like a subplot because the story focuses more on the characters and their journey. the themes can be triggering for some readers, so it's best to check the tags before reading. the plot is incredibly well-written, and i love how different the characters are from one another. their development over time is one of the strongest parts of the story. it just keeps getting better and better, and i found myself wanting to see them solve the case until the very end. this story also explores themes of obsession, possessiveness, and the male lead's inferiority complex, which adds even more depth to the narrative.

i've been curious about this one for a while, so i had to give it a try. it's pure angst like a battle between siblings, oneself, and parents. i love it when characters' behavior has deeper reasons behind it, and si-eon had such a hard time figuring everything out. thankfully, namwoo was there to help him understand himself. he became a guide for si-eon, and i love that so much 🥹 when all the conflicts were finally resolved, the giddy feeling hit differently because all their suffering felt worth it. they were finally able to live and love freely without being haunted by their past. it's all good now

that one bkdk fic broke me. suddenly, i want to watch from the sidelines at the track field for a certain pole vaulter with ruby eyes fly, and somehow end up becoming my psychology project partner. then sneak out of the house and spend the night driving around the town of ise in my project partner's car, with the sky painted in shades of purple and orange. sitting through the sunroof with the biggest smile, feeling nothing but freedom. listening to 80's songs on the car radio. going to diners, watching movies, jumping off cliffs, swimming in lakes with fireflies, breaking into abandoned houses, climbing spooky towers to watch meteor showers, and swimming at the beach until dawn. talking about random things while lying in the truck bed in the middle of a field of yellow flowers, stargazing. and then take my breath away starts playing. slow dancing in front of the house because my project partner skipped the spring dance at school just so he could dance with me instead. and then those pair of green eyes would become the most beautiful thing the pole vaulter had ever seen. this fic really changed me in the best way possible. i love the perspectives, the symbolism, the characterization, the realizations, the conflicts, everything. every single thing about this fic feels perfect and romantic. it felt like i was watching a movie. it felt like i was living in the town of ise. the nostalgic retro 80's atmosphere made the place feel so magical and beautiful. after finishing it, i've just been sitting here, lost in my thoughts, replaying every scene while "nothing's gonna change my love for you" by george benson plays on my phone. i'm genuinely about to cry because of how beautifully everything unfolded. it made me feel like i was there, living those moments and feeling every emotion with them. i love every bit of this fic.

watched this with my friends in the cinema, and i can say that this movie is so, so good! the plot was really interesting and kept me invested the whole time. there will always be that one character who makes you want to punch them for being such a burden to the team 😭

finished april 23, 2026 i love how things escalated so fast. i love the plot. is this what they call slice of life? i honestly don't know hahaha. i love how they addressed their situation. i love how understanding they are, and i love how self-aware they are. they're such cutie pies 🥹💛

first of all, i would like to say that theo is such a beautiful man. i love him so much. he's stoic, yet such a softie when it comes to seth. plot-wise, i also love the little spirits so much. the moment i first saw them, i wanted to squish them so badly. just another alpha x alpha trope, and i love it. but there's a twist, which made me love it even more. their relationship is just so pure. it's not toxic at all—they simply love each other so much, even without saying "i love you." they're truly made for each other. i love them so much 😭

I FINISHED IT AND I AM VERY SAD. i love this couple so much, and i'm honestly so envious of their relationship. every time they smile, giggle, and kiss each other, my heart just melts. there's so much fluff, and i'm loving every second of it. i didn't expect it to be this good after marinating in my tbr for a year (or maybe longer, i'm not even sure 😭). BUT THIS MANHWA IS SO SO GOOD IF YOU WANT A FLUFFY AND LIGHTHEARTED MANHWA. of course, there are conflicts, but they never felt too heavy to me. in fact, i became sensitive whenever they fought. like WDYM THEY'RE FIGHTING? they love each other so much 😭 their personalities complement each other perfectly, and their relationship feels surprisingly realistic for a manhwa. also, a plus for the smut. it was good hahaha. I WILL READ THIS AGAIN. I'M SURE OF THAT.

one of my favorites!! this story gives me so much joy and happiness. the characters are so precious, and i love them so much. every relationship in this story makes me happy. this is the best manhua i've read so far, and the art only makes me love it even more. the beginning of the series is quite angst-filled, but after that, it's mostly joy and heartwarming moments. i just love this story so much. i'm so attached to the characters, and i don't think i'll ever get over them. 😭❤️
