my all time favorite book! I first read this book during the hardest year of my adolescence. I was struggling with mental health issues like depression, bipolar, and my dibilitating anxiety disorder along with suicidal thoughts which led to suicide attempts soon after. 7th grade, this book helped me tremendously, even with such a happy in the times and how obvious our life's we're since the 60's to the 21st century, their everyday struggles mirrored that of our struggles in this day and age.
