😍 Love this Asake era!!!!!

Absolutely brilliant... This is the best adaptation ever. Even though they all speak like they belong in a Shakespearean play the acting is fantastic. I love how Jennifer While acts with her eyes. She is clearly not twenty one years old but her acting makes up for it. I can't believe how much they closely followed the novel even with some changes this is still a near perfect adaptation. I just have one qualm why is everyone able to move around so quickly. Lizzie does mention the existence of good roads but the journey was too fast.

While I found ending of the last episode underwhelming I enjoyed the ride. I am glad I went into this series blind and binged it in a weekend. It is nice to have a show focused on middle-aged women that is funny, dark and everything in between. I was also happy to see Nastaha O'Keefe, Lanfear from the Wheel of Time. She does play the haunted troubled Greta really well in this show.

I learnt that Will's full name is Wilbur not William. He is a Wilbur🤣 makes sense actually. It is was nice to see Angie get back on her feet. I know some fans don't like her but like Will she has been through a lot. I love how Micheal's character has evolved. He went from being an annoying co worker to being a great dorky dad. I love it. I wish Faith and her mom would makeup properly. Her mom is so cute. Faith's looks where on point this season. I also love how Faith got Will's old office. I think I found a replacement to The Mentalist, can't wait to for Season 4

an excellent psychological thriller

This was good, I get the hand thing now. The movie is better than the book. It is visually pleasing and well placed. But, I think I had an easier time following because I read the book recently. Lady Catherine is perfect here. I think the film should have shown their wedding. Like that's the whole point of the story. I will be watching the 1995 version next.

Critical Role knows what they are doing with their IPs. While I prefer The Legend of Vox Machina. I think The Mighty Nein has its strengths. I wish The Mighty Nein had more episodes plus a slowe pace. We have barely been given time to breathe with the characters. I blame Amazon for forcing the into 8 episodes with 40 minutes of runtime on average.

I would say if you enjoy Korean revenge dramas like the The Glory this fine, watch for the friendship and revenge not the plot. Binge watched this, it is a deeply personal heart wrenching tale about domestic violence and two female friends that try to fight against it. While the first two to four episodes of this drama are solid, it unfortunately becomes melodramatic in a distasteful manner towards the end. Overall I enjoyed it hence the high rating.

I have been listening to the Disney Villians series by Serena Valentino for a while now. This is the fifth book in the series and it is my least favourite. I am surprises at how little it does to humanise to Gothel or defend her decisions. The other books really tried to provide explanations for the villians, while acknowledging their fates. I found the Mistress of Evil, Maleficent's story to be the most touching. Gothel is selfish and in decisive from the very beginning, which makes less endearing. But, again she is not completely to blame because the Odd Sisters meddled in her story for their own benefit.

Now I love Tessa Thompson but I feel like this is no where her best work. I did enjoy the first two episodes but I think plot fell flat towards the end with an unconvincing twist. it's like the writers forgot everything they have setup. The story started of very grounded and realistic but the ending is so fairytalesque. I also think the story didn't really follow and explore all the victims properly. Especially Helen Wang. She made a phone call that was never addressed. I think this could have a solid episodes to setup and reveal things. 6/10

I love the cinematography and Miles Teller as Larry but I still think it was incredibly selfish to put Joan in that situation. Also I can't believe that since the dawn of human civilization, a woman with two husbands hasn't showed up. I can't take the world building of Eternity seriously and that's why I didn't enjoy much.
