Death Note
영화 / TV
Just finished Death Note... I've got so much to say, yet I can't put it into words but I'll still try. This was..an experience to say the least. Turns out I didn't know the ending at all. I almost feel empty? That's definitely not the best way of describing it. Maybe crushed? Or just confused? This is an anime I know is going to stay with me for a while, the same way Nana did. It was so beautifully written, the voice acting was immaculate and fitting to each character and the art style, though sometimes a little messy especially when characters were further away, was awesome and I absolutely loved the ending. Bad endings do something to me good endings could never. I think I've got mixed feelings because of how firmly I believed Light was going to win. I genuinely thought his plan was perfect without any flaws, yet he still lost. And that last scene of him dying on a staircase when the Shinigami writes his name in his Death Note. I just know I won't be able to find an anime that'll make me feel like this for a long while. Overal this was an absolute masterpiece that I recommend to everyone. I should've watched this so long ago, but then again maybe I wouldn't have fully understood it the way I do now and I wouldn't have had the pleasure of watching it now.

20th Century Girl
영화 / TV
Another recommendation from that same friend and it did not disappoint. I watched it in the car since I'd downloaded a few things on Netflix and ugh this got me actually sobbing. I would've never expected that ending. Never trust good endings that come in the middle of a movie.

Girl from Nowhere Season 2
영화 / TV
I finally finished the second season after, I'm pretty sure, a whole year of procrastinating. I have this habit of just watching something until the last two episodes then dropping and forgetting it for some reason, so since I'm stuck in a car for hours on end I just decided to download a couple of series that I had two episodes left of like One Piece, see you in my 19th life and this one. I don't know how I feel about the ending. It was really good, don't get me wrong, but that was the last thing I expected. Honestly, I've always thought that Nanno's punishments, or well 'karma' can sometimes be quite harsh. But I think you're not supposed to look at it from a fair point of view and instead more from a 'cautionary tale' point of view. Though, I really liked her kind of regretting and thinking back on her actions on the last episode. The ending shocked me. I would've never expected to have this kind of ending and honestly after thinking it through I don't think I would've preferred it any other way. The ending was, in a way, perfect. I don't know if I'll watch the Reset though. Not only because it's another actress, maybe she does a really good job at the acting of Nanno, but also because I watched the trailer and I don't know, I just wasn't feeling it tbh. Maybe I'll get around to watching it eventually, right now I'll just focus on finishing the series I've started.

Loved it so much. I'm full & satisfied. (I didn't flip the coffee for some reason so don't mind that.)

This was so good. Probably the best poke bowl I've ever had! I went to the same place last year during the summer when we were waiting to board our boat. And the dessert was even better. I'm definitely going back the next time I can.

I finally, FINALLY, finished this and oh my God. I'm so glad I finally did. It was a little confusing at first since I waited a whole year ( or probably even more) to finish the last two episodes, but I managed to piece it together eventually. This series was a recommendation from a friend of mine (she always has the best recommendations I swear). Anyway about the series itself now: I don't think there was a single episode I didn't at least get a little misty eyed, most even actually made me cry. It was just so good. Now there's this aching in my heart because I feel like it ended too soon. I'll never find a series quite like this one and that makes me so sad. The concept, the acting, the actors (especially the main character, I love the way she looks), the music, just everything in this drama was perfect.

Don't even get me started on this. I loved it so much. I might rewatch it sometime. The story is so original too. And I can't forget about Haru His first appearance was just soo🤭

Pretty sure this was one of my first asian drama's I'd ever watched (if you don't count Squid Game, which I didn't really like so I didn't finish it). Some moments I had my hands over my face in slight embarrassment, but overall I really liked it.

Ugh, I loved this so much. I heard this is based off of a Webtoon, but the ending is different in the drama sadly. I stayed up to date and sometimes would even watch it during class because a new episode would usually drop around one our last hours and I'd see my friends watching it on their laptops too. I miss that time so much.

I loved this movie when I first watched it. I was looking for another emotional one and this one hit the spot. Also, how can you not want to watch this when this is the main character🤭

Ugh, what a movie. I loved it so much! One of my friends recommend it to me and I'm eternally grateful for it. I still occasionally will try to find edits to remind me of what a fun movie this was.

Pretty sure I started this back when I was 9 or 10. Sometimes I'd walk into my older brother's room randomly and just watch it with him. I remember snippets of the Marineford arc and fishman island. After that I first started by reading it since he had 3 Manga's. After that I started watching it and I still remember the site I used to watch it on: twist.moe. I get so nostalgic when I see people posting pre-timeskip clips. If I could go back and watch it all for the first time again I would.

I watched this maybe a year ago and to this day whenever I hear one of the OST's I feel this deep gut wrenching feeling. I loved this so much and the fact it's unfinished only adds to it's charm in my opinion. I'd love to see the ending, but I wouldn't mind it staying like this either.

Had to read this book for my Dutch exam and omg it's so good. The last few chapters had me actually sobbing. Absolute peak.

I loved this movie so much I watched it twice. I'm usually not one for rewatching things unless I really liked it. It also kind of reminds me of Ghibly movies.

I'm still on the road and I just finished another 2 hour movie. I liked this one, but definitely not more than the last one I watched. I really liked the message behind it though.

Definitely made me shed some tears, but I feel if this were a series instead of a movie and we got to know the character better I'd be way more Broken than I was. Overal a really good movie though, I really enjoyed it and I like what they did with the beginning.
