haidilao birthday edition let’s gooo 🎁🎉🎉 first of all, their SERVICE is actually unmatched 🤩 they’re so humble, sweet, and always ready to lend a hand 🎖🎖 i brought my parents there for their first time and didn't even mention why i picked it, but post-lunch they literally couldn't stop hyping up the staff #madrespect 🫡🫡 naturally, the food slapped too!! the shrimp paste, pork blade shoulder, and US shortplate are total must-orders, and the three delicacy + spicy mala broths are just chef’s kiss 😙 🍲🥓🥩🥬

my favorite sushi-to-go !! yum yum been craving for sushiro for 2 weeks straight dayummmm. if you love traditional sushi instead of the fusion ones, this is your sign to go. they have everything from nigiri, maki, sashimi, ramen and side dishes. i'm a huge salmon and tuna lover so i ordered a bunch of nigiri. hype dictates that salmon cheese basil is the best but i don't really fancy that 🫤 please try the aburi salmon cheese and salmon yukke onsen tamago instead (didn't take a photo oops) AND THE EGGPLANT SUSHI u guys need to give it a shot! the eggplant is kinda like it's cooked with teriyaki sauce, idk if it's true or not lol i just guessing it. the price is still within my budget ((the most important part 😂))

Craving Bakmi Asui for breakfast, but I made a super late decision and arrived at 9:30 AM. Naturally, it was packed, so I had to get on the waitlist and ended up table-sharing with a stranger 😬. Fast forward: he finishes first AND paid my bill on his way out?! Omg, such a kind-hearted man! Thank you so much, sir! 🫡🫡 May God always bless your generosity. You genuinely made this anak kos's day (and budget)! :D

my favorite food to eat after church—AND I DON'T KNOW BUT that bakmi-after-church habit is literally everyone's sunday must-have :3 this one is bakmi alung, one of the favorites for jakbar peeps (especially in grogol!). ALSO on that same street, there are other bakmi places that are all owned by the same family and have the exact same style: bakmi karet with chopped chicken. out of all those family bakmi spots, my favorite is alung because the broth is the tastiest and the chili isn't too sour. and PLEASE add pepper, fried garlic, and idk what it’s called... it tastes like a mix of salt and pepper but it makes the bakmi so much more delicious. crying because typing this just made me crave it again lol u__u

one of my fave sushi spots fr 😭 tracks well on taste + doesn't hurt the wallet BC I BE GOING THERE EVERY SINGLE WEEK u__u the salmon belly and sashimi ALWAYS hit the spot ((( for mEE )), literally top-tier items :>> and FINALLY they dropped ramen with broth... been craving that forever istg. i used to try ordering the ramen broth EVERY SINGLE TIME just because it was on the menu (like why is it even there if you don't actually sell it, make it make sense 💀) Ok buTTT NO MORE BEEFING, they finally dropped it FOR REAL 🍣🍜🍤🍥

As always, bakmi for breakfast! 😭 I honestly love bakmi so much. I get breakfast here near my condo on the weekend sometimes because it’s still affordable and fits my appetite perfectly. The Bakmi Bangka stall also sells pempek, but instead of traditional cuko, they mix it with tauco sambal and another kind of sambal (forgot the name! it's sambal cabai merah if im not mistaken). The pempek photo almost looks like garlic cloves, but THAT’S THE ONE I WAS TALKING ABOUT. It already comes sliced up 🍜🥢🥟

last friday night i watch a movie together with boyfie :D after fighting with discord for a bit, we finally got our virtual nobar set up 😩😩😩 he’s seen it before but it was my first time, and wow the movie was honestly so sad huhu. some scenes got me so teary and emotional. otto was so arrogant, hot-tempered, and stingy at the start because of his grief, but his life started to change once he befriended the new neighbors. it honestly amazes me how deeply he loved his wife though, my heart hurts :<<

i went to pasar bunga rawa belong this morning and it was literally flower heaven 😭 flowers everywhere!! they have basically everything u need for a bouquet + they do wrapping services too. anywayysss i secured lily, sunflower, white rose, baby breath, and caspea for only 160k total!! the sellers outside/at the back are way cheaper than the indoor booths, but u really gotta hunt and check them 1 by 1 😩😩 i found one seller that charging 70k for 5 sunflowers, but after did sunflowers hunt, i finally got 10 for 35k!! the flowers weren't massive but idc it’s so worth it. then the indoor roses were like 50k for a bouquet (around 10-15 stems), but i found 10 stems for 25k out back and they’re still so pretty HEHEE YEEEY :DDD the lily was 50k tho u___u i tried to haggle but the seller stood their ground lmao. it’s fine tho since it came with 5 stems. overall a massive win. the flowers are still buds—not blooming yet! i bought them like that so they'll last way longer in my room hehe. i also got baby breath and caspea, and i managed to haggle them both down to 50k total (honestly still kind of expensive for me huhu). but i'm still sooo happy i got my fave flowers YEY 🌼🌺

hangout dump ✨ had to wait on a list because the seating area was full u___u AND we waited in the outdoor area and that was HOT 😩. the layout inside is spacious and the ergonomics/traffic flow actually make sense :P love the seating variety too. food-wise? honestly kinda mid. the fries (truffle or regular? idk i forgot lol) carried though—the portion was massive and literally never-ending. and one of my friend ordered— IM FORGOT THE NAME actually it's on my taste yummy ((also my friend said the same)) ONLY DOWNSIDE is that when it’s packed, it gets SO loud. had to scream-talk to my friends the whole time 😭 swift service though, the waiters always ready to help us and the food didnt take a long at all.

Okay I tried a different dish at Beatrice Quarters, since I usually order they goulash u_____u I wanted a different food for today's dinner. It was quite good... I give it only 4 stars because it wasn't spicy.. SORRY BUT like we all know.. carbonara is supposed to be creamy so it doesnt suit my appetite– i like something spicy and umami u___u OKAY SORRY IM NOT GOOD AT DESCRIBING FOOD but yeah smth like that.... 😩😩

ordered gacoan with boyfie 🙋🏻‍♀️🍜 but tell me why his total was only 27k while mine came out to 49k?! the delivery fees and taxes in jakarta are actually insane, i HATE the price tag on everything here. it literally makes the cheapest food so expensive 😩😩 gacoan supposed to be the budget savior BUT NOT WHEN YOU ORDERED IT BY APPS AND YOU ARE IN JKT ❌️💥 (i even check on 3 grabfood, gofood, sfood.. the total jumped to >40k 😊)
