this was a game i downloaded from the app store when i was bored. it’s a choice-based text simulation game where you’re a character named nick and you follow him on his journey before, during and after he gets diagnosed with HIV.
this game was super informative but fun and it was actually pretty long. i feel like any pre-conceived notions i had about HIV and AIDS have been quelled by all the information and empathy that this game provided. it was so different to be in someone else’s shoes for a moment.
i picked most of the “good choices” but in reality, i don’t know how well i would really handle that situation. just a reminder for everyone to GET TESTED! even if you’re in a relationship, are a woman, are scared about it or just don’t think it could ever happen to you, GET TESTED!
