Another brilliant book I found myself strangely reluctant to finish. It really challenged my sense of morality. It felt incredibly important to me, reflecting the chaos I’m currently experiencing in my own mind. I needed some of those sentences to finally find the words for how I feel. Even though the subject matter has never directly affected me, I deeply identified with Vanessa and the way her life — and her own choices — shaped her psyche in such a damaging way.

I think I’ve never watched something and felt so understood… I love how Lin Manuel Miranda perfectly can fit into mood of any project he works on so the songs just fit right in perfectly 💛💛

I LOVE THE WHOLE SERIES SO MUCH <333 People argue about it being a thin story with so little of characters development considering the bigger number characters now. But for me? I think these plot twists always recompense it. Period.

This album shows how Melanie evolved thru these years. Though her metaphors are so much more mature, the universality of her lyrics has increased what throws me off track a little bit.

GOD! Where to start? First of all- Why do I adore this soundtrack so much!? I SHOULD NOT BRAG ABOUT IT SO MUCH BUT IT WAS ON POINT! SHUT ME UP- Second, I’m an absolute fan of Pawbert (definitely not the only one. Me and my sister held our breaths at “The Shining” maze reference I SWEAR— Although the moment of Judy and Nick’s honest talk it looked like taking very pop culture point of view on emotional burst. They wrote it so over complicated unnecessarily, I’m sorry. The language was too complicated for kids, more for teens who watched the first movie being kids. Thank you though for showing me how much I relate to Judy, I feel infected now- Also looking at the aspect of injustice, the movie shows exactly and very properly like social status and power works. The moment where Garry says that the fate of whole world is not Judy is incredibly eyes opening for the case of how little we can do alone (what I needed, thank you for that too). Overall I very enjoyed the movie as a person who watched the first one being little gnome and didn’t actually understand the importance of life issues obviously. But my new movie critic had much fun as well. Some jokes were made as if trying to lick that “youth language” why even the youngest watchers might’ve cringe. But I’d definitely recommend for people who feels insufficiency after first movie.

After reading this book, I left without any new knowledge. Perhaps except for the warning not to romanticize psychopaths. But for some strange reason, I couldn't finish it because it captivated me so much. Maybe that's what draws people to it so much? The monotony and the portrayal of normal life through the eyes of a normal person. Or rather, the atmosphere of college and the library with the extinguished candles. Or maybe the fact that they (including me) will never have the chance to experience it firsthand. If I had finished it in one day, this review would have been completely different. This certainly won't be the end of my adventure with Donna Tartt, because she has a mature writing style, and I appreciate that. And despite the many pop culture references, which no one will understand all of them, only some, which I've always treated in any work as the author's vision telling us "where haven't I been, what haven't I seen" I truly appreciate them as such small mane topic step outs. At times, I relate strongly with Richard, with how he tries to fit in with the group he's initially intimidated by. At the same time, however, I feel that if he weren't in the story, it wouldn't have had any impact on the events, and that's sad. However, towards the end — and I'm ashamed to say this — I relate more to the final descriptions of Henry and Julian in my current life... I'll have to reread it someday.

The ending was SO ADORABLE~ I’m so in love with this show and I’ll always be sentimental with it. I’m not only into med shows but also into med myself that’s probably why i dont hate this show so much as I saw others do reading reviews.
