Such a beautiful movie. I got sad, knowing what Michael had to go through with his father who was abusing him. Imagine your son goes to surgery to fix themselves because of what you said. Michael is such a sweetheart 💕 ❤️ Love his mother, Katherine, and the way that her and Michael were so close with each other was sweet. And as the movie progressed through Michael's 'rising star era', there would always be a scene where it would be Michael and his mother watching a cartoon movie and Katherine staring in pure motherly adoration. Now, I get why he built Neverland, 'cause annotated in his story book as a child, he saw Joseph as his Captain Hook. WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU TOLD YOUR SON, WHO NEARLY BURNED ALIVE AND DIED, TO GET OUT THE HOSPITAL AND GET BACK ON TOUR?!!?!??! I don't get why Joseph can't deal that he has this successful youngest child and chooses still exploit him. I mean the only the reason that Michael ended up in the hospital in the first place is because freaking Joseph was being a narcissist and went behind Michael's back, who even had his manager send him a letter firing him as his manager, and decided, "Hmm, we should definitely do a tour because I don't give a damn about my child." Loved Jaafar and all the actors. Would recommend to anyone, it's for everyone. Michael is a movie that shows us as a society one of the pillars of Black success, pride, and excellence.
