AAAAAHHHH Im loving this game so far. If you want to build a hotel where the controls are similar to The Sims 4, I reaaallly recommend this game. I haven't progressed much in Campagin Mode yet but I've been building my own hotel using Sandbox mode hehehehe this is so fun i'm not yet finished though with my first hotel build so maybe i'll repost later with my progress >:)

I've made Miis of Susnet Shimmer, Twilight Sparkle, Max Caulfield, Chloe Price, and Rachel Amber 😎 I'm already at about 12 Miis on my island. I heard you can have 8 miis living in one house heheheheh so i'm trying to expand my island WEEEEE

pretty good so far! I'm just starting out but first impressions are pretty ok. I'm looking forward to more of the social interactions being fleshed out!

No spoilers: I loveeee this game. I haven’t experienced “pure” exploration in gaming since my Minecraft days tbh. Yes, I’ve played other open world games but most games have big red arrows or maps/way points that make game progression linear and it also inadvertently prevents you from fully taking in and understanding the map + the game doesn’t also have an in-game map!! You have to rely on map awareness, your sense of direction, and the beacons you have to manually place. Exploring Sunbautica’s biomes also feel very rewarding. The world is immersive, maybe it’s just my major fear of the open ocean, but it’s more than just the game being about the ocean. You have to read the logs and investigate, the story goes hand in hand with the hands-on gameplay. I haven’t finished the game yet, so the rating is based on my first full 30 hours of gameplay. I’ve progressed pretty decently and I’ve always taken my time on my base lol. I heard Subnautica 2 is releasing its early access in a month or so?? Omfgggggggggggg WAITTTT I HAVEN’T FINISHED THE GAME YET AND I HAVEN’T MET THE OTHER LEVIATHANS 😳

I lole that this game is reminiscent of early 2000s MMORPGS. It has the foundation nailed down with its graphics, the things you can collect, leveling systems, etc., but it’s a litttleeeeeee bland? First of all, why can’t I SPRINT? 😭😭 TP’ing to most areas is costly (you can only TP to towns/safe points) so it’s tedious just walking everywhere. So it’s really annoying how you can’t sprint unless you purchase a mount. At my current point in the game, I’m unsure too if mounts can only be bought with real money. Level progression is okay but it’s a lttle repetetive. Too many fetch quests and there isnt a lot of immersive side stories. Like, I dont care if the main story is not that great, a simple main story is alright in a game if world building + immersion is met when you interact with NPCs, read a little lore, or with map design. Also, my biggest GRIPE is that this game is marketed as an MMORPG but the mobs you fight can only be seen in YOUR instance. So ur buddies wont see what youre fighting UNLESS you hop into a dungeon that allows parties. so what the hell is this an mmorpg or what. i knoiw i compare a lot of games to Skyrim—it’s NOT my favorite game btw, but it set the standard for game immersion for me. Skyrim’s map did not feel flat. Transitions between biomes made sense. There’s mountains and landforms that make you feel and remember each place as their own designated area. Dare I say, the game ‘The World of Magic’ has a better map system than Eterspire… but TWOM is Pay-to-Win, which is where Eterpsire’s main strength is. You can spend real money on cosmetics in Eterspire but it’s not level-altering at all, spending money doesnt alter the game mechanics.

Can't wait for the full game to release on the 30th!!! I really loved the demo but the reviews were right; THERES TOO MANY CHAIRS!!!!

Has a lot of stuff to do but the game feels empty? The world doesn't feel that interactive. I wish there were more locations, specifically maps outside of the island. Though I guess that it's nice that everything's on one map to lessen loading times, but there doesn't feel like any map transitioning or "distance" at all. Everything's on one flat surface. There's tons of F2P features and practically the only paid stuff are cosmetics, but they could at least make the limited-time cosmetic items purchasable with coins. I'm still going to play until I get to a higher level. Did the same for Palia and that game's at a much better place now after 1.5 years. Emphasis on: 1.5 years. People should not have to wait and play that long to feel like a game is "more complete". I just wish games were released as finished products, not as "beta testing" experiences. Stardew Valley took 6-7 years of development and it's a great game. During release, yeah there were bugs but it was polished, sold as a final product and didn't ask players for more. The developer cared about it to release IMPROVEMENTS and QOL updates, he didn't roadmap the releases of integral parts of the game. The game was complete. Anyway why am I shocked companies act this way when I've seen MMORPGs die time and time again for the same capitalistic reasons lol

(No spoilers) I love these kinds of games; turn on some music or tune into a podcast, then just blank out and play :) You work as a delivery driver and you unlock more of the town's lore the more you do deliveries. It's a simple game but it has its own challenges lol. I've died multiple times trying to find my own shortcuts up and down the mountains. It doesn't really help that a part of the map has a god-damned blizzard and I can't see shit. I'm halfway through the game yet and I've also not stopped loving the simple art style it has. I fucking LOVEEEEEE pixel art and low-poly games (and I think it's amazing that it's turned into its own art form). Its camera angle and atmosphere also remind me of the early Silent Hill games. The game is meant to look dreary but it's not a horror game. It is eerie at times tho ngl. The cutscene whenever u die lowkey creeped me out... As for the story, I heard it's simple and a little sad (I accidentally got spoiled a little by TikTok).

Lowkey I feel like the game is telling us about a future where AI can essentially torture humans even without it outright hating us. We got AM from 'I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream' that has unending hatred for mankind, but NoA from Subn2 doesn't need to posses disdain for humans for it to be just as cruel. Both of these super-AIs make it impossible for you to live and die normally, they can literally kill you and "reprint" you with the memories they've cherry-picked as useful. Your body is an instrument to them, there is no virtue to their goals.

Revisited this game. I remember playing it for the first time in 2022, and I really wish I could go back lol. I was so addicted and would spend the entire day just powering through all the accumulated sidequests. Fully online classes were still a thing, and I'd remember that most of my profs just gave asynchronous activities so I'd play the game during the day and study at night. Not a very healthy way to live but those times were simpler. This game really was its own thing. Of course the NPC pathing and combat isn't comparable to what we have today, but the level of immersion this game gives you isn't very common with the what we have nowadays.

Like the plant journal thing needs an A-Z sorting view cause I can't memorize the scientific and common names of these plants LOL. Some customers are also quite sassy, WELL IM SORRY I DONT KNOW THE PLANT YOU'RE REFERRING TO AS "IRIDOSA CLITUS MAGNIFICUS MCDONALDUS" Other people mentioned that maybe a side story with an NPC might add to the game's hook, but I kinda just want to be able to move cities or add more floors to my building! I have too many plants... Weird side story: I've been inside these, kind of, small flowershops in real life. When a flowershop keeps more plants than their space should accomodate, the place... well, it doesn't smell bad. It's kinda like being in the middle of a rainforest right after a harsh rain. You smell everything and the air is pugent with the scent of natural minerals and wet earth. Not a complaint, lol it's just a weird memory. Also their hair options for masculine characters are so whack wtf i had to just dress like a girl cuz why do the masculine-representing characters in this game almost look b@ld LMAODWDHDFDJ

First impressions! Currently playing this on Android because I didn't think to check if it had a PC release (it does 😈 and I'll be downloading it). I like the art style, it seems to be a chill "manage your business" kind of game like ChefRPG except ChefRPG would easily stress me out cuz I'd mess up the dishes so much. You can also explore the town, though it is quite small. I wish the neighbourhood was a little bigger with more NPCs and interactive establishments. I also wonder if the lore of the town actually matters down the line as you're faced with the familiar "megacorp settling in a small town" cough cough don't make me say it I don't know if this game has farming/foraging, but i'll be a little disappointed if it does. I'm tired of cozy games having farming as one of the gameplay loops and ChefRPG almost hit the sweet spot for me

Revisiting this game after a year! I like all the improvements, most of the bugs that made gameplay a little wonky a year ago have been squished. There are also a bunch of new characters and some events with the new Major Update/DLC :) I finished the main story line a year ago but the game is still so fun imo Here's a small studio unit I designed lmao... my dream home is a small home. I always tell people that I'd prefer if I could see all corners of my house within severel steps. Not too spacious but not too excessive, just enough to house memories.

Also re-designed my starter home (except the basement, I kept what I did from 2025). All the small lights are turned on because I don't like the big light the bathroom also is the only room in the house that doesn't match the theme cause... REALISM!!! nobody wants to clean dark tiles and grout ew

(No spoilers, just gonna rant.) It's an "OK" game. I'm gonna sound a little harsh, so if this is your favorite game I'm sorry. However, I do not fear the cozy mob after I say that a lot of games are just trying to be Stardew Valley 2. "But SV took inspiration from Harvest Moon!" Blah, blah, blah. They are not the same, if you played or even watched playthroughs of SV and HM, they're not the same game based on mechanics and pacing alone. Play 10 hours of Stardew Valley then play Coral Island. You will see a lot of the same mechanics except Coral Island feels... not cozy? Not real? Artificial? Plastic? I think a lot of cozy games that are 3D end up feeling artificial and hollow because they're: 1) Carbon copies of other established games 2) They don't have other elements that feel cozy or nostalgic. Aside from its story, Stardew Valley's pixel art is part of why that game feels like an escape from reality; it's pixelated and allows our mind to feel like we're 40 years back in the past. I was born in 2002 so I wasn't alive 40 years ago. However, my first gaming console was the Gameboy and I mainly played the old supermario and barbie games that were either low-poly or severely pixelated. I'd say, if you're trying to copy Stardew Valley just own up to what you're doing and make the game pixelated too. If this isn't true, why does Moonlight Valley, Palia, and Coral Island look the same? They're all the same games... If you're a person who just wants to farm for the sake of farming in a farm sim, then we're the same person cause I'm most likely still going to continue playing Coral Island. Would I say I'm enjoying it like I'm experiencing a creative rendition to the cozy genre? No, it's cozy slop. We like slop and we know it's not stimulating, it's just buzzing and buzzing and buzzing to keep boredom from fully taking over and it's uninspired.
