when I'm really depressed I'll just watch up to the proposal scene and then rewatch it like 5 times in a row and then cut it off

rewatched for the 100th time while building Lego with my family for new year's 💜 pure magic and whimsy with actual stakes. this will always be one of my favorites.

I need movies that are weird to really lean in and this one absolutely does that. still fun the second time, too.

My grandma took me to the city two hours away to see this in theaters when it came out because that was the closest place showing it. It was magical for me then as someone obsessed with the music and how it played against the turmoil of the 1960s. It's magical to me now for the same reasons.

My ex liked this movie and he had no taste in TV or music so I avoided it but my current partner LOVES this one so we watched it together and I guess what I'm saying is my ex had taste when it comes to this movie. And me 💁‍♀️😇

one time I told a man I watched this movie a lot as a child and he acted like he'd never heard something more offensive. God forbid a girl has a crush on the entire cast!!

this was my favorite movie as a child and it's still so funny to me. so many good bits. fozzie and Kermit being twins is classic

I love this movie idc it's over the top but there's so much to think about in regards to the toxicity of professional sports and the way it preys on poor (and especially non-white) men

the cinematography alone is reason to watch this

unfortunately this is one of the funniest movies of all time
