And that’s tofu. Second day in a row I’m having it. Today, I just found some napa cabbage in the fridge so I’m just eating it with that. Like I’m just obsessed with the texture of it, and with a soy sauce/sesame oil marinade!! Ahh, it’s so satisfying!!!🥹I haven’t cooked tofu myself for maybe 8 years, and I have no idea why??? Cuz I’ve always liked it. Maybe it’s because I never used to have any East Asian pantry staples (except soy sauce) for making satisfying marinades? I wonder how long this food fixation will last?? Because the aftermath is the worst!!! You have consumed a certain food for specific meal(s) for weeks or maybe even months, and suddenly you got the ick. NOW, you have no idea what to eat so you just kind of end up skipping an entire meal for weeks bc you can’t think of ANYTHING that sounds good AND doesn’t require too much preparation and planning.

there was a restaurant near me that was super similar to panda although they had tofu bowls as well and oh my god it was so good and i miss it bc it closed down 😔😔tofu is SO underrated imo
