started off my day after a long ass sleep and i’m not too mad at it. i do take double the amount of my muscle relaxer to really get me going so.. first meal of the day was banana pudding chia seeds that i had prepped the day before and ate with some assorted lightly salted nuts that i plopped right on top. i swear one day without eating them, my body was not having fun when it came to the movements, if yall know what i mean. soak them in water FIRST and i swear thats the first mistake people make that i see. then i add some milk and my greek yogurt before adding in the flavoring that i wanted and yesterday, after having coffee in mine, i missed the banana pudding flavor and wanted to go back. glory to the heads in the sky for giving my creamy coconut dr pepper finally. when i say i’ve been checking any and all apps for over a week now since i knew it would come in april, my screen time was done for. i jumped out of bed as best as i can so it was more slowly sliding myself down and off the side of the best to stand properly. i had to pick up some meds anyways from the pharmacy. anyways now my 6pack is sitting in the foot space of my passenger seat and im already debating going back for more since it’s been so long and they’re limited time.

he got a slice of the four meat pizza and a drink for $2.50 and i got the $2 hot dog combo and one of their cookie dough brownies. both were tasty. we did share everything, but the drinks. i got pepsi my first round and he got mountain dew like he usually does. i was chugging my pepsi down because i too wanted mountain dew, but the pepsi wanted to be tasted. i hope the dubai iced creams are delicious.

i got a slice of the four meat, a hot doggo combo, and a cinnamon sugar pretzel with a mountain dew as my drink. while waiting for my food, i did eat a chocolate croissant that i came to buy, but was actually bamboozled by the size of them compared to how they’re advertised. sad, but we still have choco croissants :)

every single bite of this is so worth it to keep on living, especially after being in the fridge overnight and it gets firm. the crunch layer was a bit thin to me and the brownie was like 2/3 the whole thing, but still smacky.

imagine this: it’s early on a friday morning and you wake up at 7am in order to drive 20 minutes to another city because your friend asked you to join her in crackhead activity, which was to fight stinky people for pokemon cards 1st stop was target and i got there before 7:30am and that made me the second person in line after a couple that i assumed weren’t there for pokemon cards, but i was so wrong because they were even at best buy to get cards. target opened at 8 and so we just had to wait. unfortunately target didn’t have anything for us even after we left and came back from eating chick fil a. lil coffee break at sertinos where i got the lucky charms iced latte and sara got the sweet pistachio iced latte, which i liked more because it wasn’t getting much of a lucky charms flavor. the first photo was at 9:14am and we didn’t stay long before heading to the… 2nd stop was best buy and we ended up being within the first twenty people with more people behind us. after waiting for 40 minutes and it was time for us to start standing again, sara ends up not wanting her coffee anymore and who am i to say no? so yeah im double fisting coffee and chugging the shit out of both because i hate holding drinks and also when they get watered down. i’m able to chuck them in the trash can as as walk through the front door with less than an inch combined of drink with ice left in the cups. after one line, of course we had another line to wait it. it wasn’t bad since we got out with one of everything hehe. it was like $150 in total or something. idk i didn’t pay for it. 3rd stop was finally barnes and noble. easiest one to do and the main one we had actually planned on doing. the total for this one came out to $108. no pic for this one, but we did good.

i was feeling the mood for korean food and didn’t want to have kbbq, but a more traditional restaurant so we went to tofu village. we got a combo of the short rib/galbi and the kimchi tofu soup. although i originally planned on getting the bulgogi, i’m glad we got the galbi because the meat was tender and deliciously marinated in a sweet tasting sauce that i kept wanting more of. despite it being readily available and accessible in vietnam, i hadn’t had korean food in over 3 months so coming back and having tofu soup was worth the struggle of it all. we got it either mild or medium because we both agreed that we prefer the taste of something over it being too spicy to handle and enjoy the flavor. willingly burned my mouth and also gave the egg over to linds bc i love her.

buffalo wild wings, better known as bdubs, serves not only chicken wings, but burgers as well. as someone who used to frequent bdubs in high school on tuesdays after tennis practice, i’ve had enough of their chicken to know i like wingstop better, no disrespect to bdubs. so tonight, i got their mushroom swiss burger and that shit was fucking gobsmackingly delicious, combined with a few hits of the pennifer before we arrived. there was grilled onions and juicy mushrooms and the patties were giving smash burger. they were also bigger than the bun it was in. speaking of the bun, it was soft and sweet and went well with the crispy edges of the burger. GOD I LOVE MUSHROOM SWISSSSS for dessert, we got the triple chocolate chip cookie skillet and it was honestly underwhelming at first glance, but the moment you get the ice cream with the crispy and gooey edge of the cookie, it becomes sooooo worth it. even the bottom of the cookie was stuck in this hard chunk that was so crunchy with the melted chocolate and the cold ice cream was perfect. would def get again. i like the sizing of it because sometimes the chilis one can be too big.

been obsessed with this song since being in vn so i’m happy to have that mental connection that helps me to feel better when im down. also shoutout to the k*rea vs. SEAblings ‘debacle’ (ifykyk 😝) that introduced me to no na and to this song, especially the m/v. i haven’t seen all of it, but the clips look so pretty and makes me have more love for being a sea girlie.

finally got my hands on the iced berry redbull and i know sugar free is better, but in this case, gimme the sugar because i liked the regular one’s taste better. i can’t wait to try the nkd hot cheetos and see if they really taste the same as normal hot cheetos. walmart had this strawberry cream cheese pocket in the warm food area of the deli section and i mainly got it since i didn’t want to go to popeyes and get their strawberry cheesecake pocket yet. i was feeling thirsty so i went on the sonic app to see what drinks they had and i discovered they had a strawberry horchata cream slush on the menu and it sounded tasty. made me realize i forgot what horchata tastes like because the cinnamon came in strong, but i still liked it. there’s strawberry pieces and the whole combination is quite delectable. i came home and added protein milk to it and i couldn’t stop drinking, even though mom wanted me to stop because it was too sweet.

one of the most iconic movie series that has been such a blessing to my life and makes it worth living more, knowing that i’m able to rewatch it whenever i want to; i’ve even bought the physical dvd’s for some that i’ve been able to find at goodwill. i can vividly remember watching the first deathly hallows on a dvd i rented from the redbox at the nice cvs in town on the tv at moms nail shop when she still had one. shoutout to hbo max for having a channel that plays the harry potter universe movies because i typically don’t choose to watch the last two to indulge in the nostalgia of it all, but my only option to watch harry potter and not have to go and search for the next one was inviting.

in vietnam, my aunt would come over and bring me these containers of jelly, mainly the green one which was pandan flavor, and it was the first time i had ever had anything like this. it’s served cold and sometimes is topped with coconut milk or other sweet liquids. the texture is jiggly and keeps its shape, but is creamy and melts in your mouth. i think i can compare it to flan if it was a lighter and less firm custard, maybe like japanese pudding. it’s super refreshing too. made from soybean milk. now that im back in the states, ive started missing it real bad and the issue was that aunt said these were special made to order so i anticipated that it wouldn’t be an easy recipe to find. fortunately, with some sleuthing skills and the tiktok search bar, i started with ‘rau cau’ which is jelly in viet, and scrolled to try to find what i was looking for. all the options were the normal type of viet jelly that’s firmer and has a slight crunch to it. that’s when we had to call mom and ask her, to which her reply was ‘rau cau mem’. i then searched that up and it was basically the same results. until, i saw the hashtag for tofu and decided to search that one up and it was game time. the tofu pudding i grew up with was best warm and served with a brown sugar ginger syrup that was soothing for the soul and immensely comforting. turns out that it’s cold sister is also a delicious and addicting vietnamese dessert. i’m so excited i learned how to make it AND it’s mad easy too.

so this is the third time that i’ve gotten one and the only thing that went sideways was the fact that neither shot was injected in my biggest problem area. no one’s fault, simply a frustrating combination of events. i thought that getting it in my L5 would be good to relieve me of my pain, but it turns out the pain is coming from my L3. i did ask if we could move the injections before today, but it was too late since insurance had already approved the L5. they had to keep me for like an hour since my blood pressure wouldn’t go down and the bottom number was at 134 for a while. the pain was terrible and i felt basically no relief. now i have to wait two to three more weeks for a shot in my L3 and i just want to break down. im supposed to go back to work and go back to being a 24 year old princess who lives her life how and when she wants to, not only when her body can barely tolerate it.

starting a new show because the cultural comedown is affecting my life in the way of a lackluster netflix selection compared to vietnam’s. brothers, i was watching updates of JJK’s culling game season just to come back to them not even having season two on here !! i used to be obsessed with ncis, but with the later in life learning of israhell propaganda, i literally can’t touch it with a ten foot pole. i’m intrigued to see madam wunch (ifykyk) as a main character and im here for the southern accent. like with greys anatomy, i like watching shows with the crunchy quality of the 2000’s and it helps to make life feel a little slower with the visual and social time jump.

i’ve been back in the states less than three days and all i can think about is how much i miss living in vietnam. yeah it was hot as balls, but being there for 2 and a half months changed me. the cost of living and closeness to family. i settled into such a simple routine there and i can’t access any of that here. i was sooo ready to go home and now that i am, i cant function properly without thinking about how life was for me. also i miss that cold ass ac.

i love a dirty soda so the fact that they have this now pleases me, but it def won’t fly with my waistline. the crunchwrap sliders with the crispy nuggets were tasty as heck and i think i liked the honey mustard one more since you taste that flavor really well. i also dipped it in the guac from the fries and it was mmmm. i don’t like getting my hands dirty when it comes to certain things, but they didn’t give me a fork so i had to go in on the steak and guac nacho fries, still delicious. THE EMPANADAS WHEN FRESHHHH oh my goddd like almost burned my mouth, but sweet and warm. i prefer the chocolate fudge one bc it almost tasted like cake. warm and fudgy. it was also giving lava cake with how it was gooey.

let’s just say it was a rough two days that led to this. trust issues coupled with emotional and physical exhaustion is an unpretty monster.

we started off the on the greatest foot by literally getting lost because we took the left lane and not the right, which resulted in mom yelling because she couldn’t get her call on speakerphone, neither could i, and so we had to loop that shit like fruit loops. then there’s li-ning, the poodle, who i’m calling ‘lím’ which means to lick in vietnamese because he couldn’t stop licking me while he sat in my lap. i also just took a shower so my body wash must be really tasty. once we got here, we ending up meeting someone who offered pre-flight assistance for a fee and good lord, did we need her. things resulted in ripping open every taped up cardboard box and repacking all the boxes AND carryons and their contents because the weights weren’t evenly distributed. also, in the process, we had to take some items out that weren’t going to pass inspection and im sad about that because mom bought these fried fish sauce pork skin chunks that are addictive, but japan doesn’t allow for pork products 😭. on top of everything, i literally woke up minutes after online check in became available this morning, typed in everyone’s information, got an error message, typed it in AGAIN, for it still not to work. at least we’re here now, but it still wasn’t fun to experience.

we’re heading home after two and a half months and good LORDDDD i hate packing and i especially hate packing to back to the states. like we didn’t already over pack in the first place just for mom to buy even more shit during our time here and if i never have to see another duct-taped cardboard box again, it’ll be way too soon. we’re not even on the flight yet and i’m anxious as to how things will go. as usual, i believe that good will happen to me so that’s what’s going to happen FOR me. we have a six hour flight from saigon to tokyo and then it’s 12 hours from tokyo to houston. yay!

updaaaateee !! i got more stones on the teefies hehe. five on the bottom since i learned my teeth were uneven in that way so it goes diamond then pink then diamond then pink then diamond. top row, i went with a star on one side and then for my front tooth, i did a bunny in place of a butterfly since that’s what the artist recommended. we also had to do another mold so that i would have a place to store my ✨ grillz ✨

let me just say i prefer sub over dub and this one was rough to get through, but at least i didn’t have to pay my full attention to it. one thing these movies instill in me further is the fact that men suck so bad and i hate them. in this one, elise was disrespected so badly over and over again in such abusive ways that i could never fathom doing to another person. i’m glad sylvie came in and started beating yasmine’s ass tho. like i’ve never seen them actually throw hands and pull hair in these dramas before, but i was loving it. cyrus got everything he deserved and he should’ve been beaten more in front of us. bankruptcy isn’t enough bro.
