this is my fav social media i have experienced so far 🧍🏻♀️ and probably the only app i would consider a real ‘social media’ since the others have shifted into ‘marketing media’ or ‘branding media’ disguised as social media to connect
what i like the most is it feels real and genuine (in my very sense of feelings), i truly enjoy witnessing everyone’s spontaneous thoughts and updates in their daily life (even tho it’s just an update about nasi uduk this morning lol), like realizing there is always something interesting to know and learn about other people 💗 truly appreciate anything from repov team that could make the environment feel this intuitively safe to share, connect, and simply exiiiisssttttt
this also explains why i always use twitter privately, barely post on instagram, treat my tumblr as my thoughts diary, and spend most of my time on pinterest haha. since it seems to cover everything i need (about genuinely connecting and documenting things), i think i can loosen up on the others from now on ✌🏻✌🏻
lastly, i think the only thing i’m still considering is the likes feature because somehow it makes me think about what i should post even tho i don’t want to think about that .. but maybe i could just stop thinking it and stay in the vibe 🐈
