absolute cinema. i cried almost the whole movie. Everything about this movie is gorgeous. and my god the ending? when we follow Na Young/Nora while she walks back slowly and arthur waiting for her??? the whole bar scene ??? the scene with Nora and Arthur in their bed??? It was obvious from the get go that I would love this movie. the second they mentionned FUCKING ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND I KNEW. I hope one day maybe i will reconnect like this with my first love.

the plot is insane. This movie really built tension well. I was really scared at some points (the scene with the man from the basement peeking up was actually terrifying.)

oh my god. This album came out at the best time it could have. I spent my summer YEARNING for my Willoughby because of it (i remember being devastated bc of nettles and then the whole album came out and I almost slimed myself out.) Ethel Cains story genuinely haunts me everyday it is so tragic. Haydens voice is gorgeous i swear she is an angel. This whole album just makes me cry everytime I listen to it. I feel like Ethel has ruined other music for me sometimes because of how deeply hers affect me. Anyways, little story time even though i don’t think anyone is actually reading but as I said before when the album came out i was going through a major heartbreak. I lost the one person i ever truly loved (which made me experience waco, texas in a very raw and deep way so thank you L, i dedicate this song to you.) This record became my "anthem" for the summer in a way. Fall comes around, still just as heartbroken, but handling it better than I used to (aka i was moving on but not at all I still wanted one man and one man only). I had listened to this album so much at this point i knew every single second of every single song. October passes, i get back in contact with my Willoughby and boom december were back. And guess what he decides to get me for christmas? The CD of this album. Crazy right? Anyways im stopping the rant here. Here are my top 3 songs (i love them all): 1.WACO,TEXAS / (recent add honestly) Tempest. i kinda explained for waco texas before but it is one of the most beautiful songs i know (and its 15 minutes long, which you don’t feel at all honestly). The lyrics mean a lot to me. For Tempest, its because i started listening to the album on CD more than on spotify and it is really a different experience that i recommend to EVERYONE alright? (imagine listening to this song really loudly on your radio while you lay on the floor next to it for 10 minutes, chefs kiss) 2. Nettles ofc 3.Willoughby's Theme HM: Knock at the door, Dust bowl

The movie was great but i wouldn’t watch it again imo. Some of the shots were gorgeous and honestly it was a pleasure to watch but the story wasn’t very "interesting". also im still very traumatized by the tooth scene LMAOOOOO i had to hide my face away from the screen. I also laughed quite a bit ? (which i wasn’t expecting after reading the synopsis.)

je suis aller le voir avec un de mes meilleurs amis (Dorian), son père et son frère. J’avais déjà vu la bande annonce plusieurs fois avant d’autre films quand j'étais au cinéma et ça m’intriguais. Honnêtement, j’aurais pas été plus surpris. J’étais vraiment pas bien mentalement et pourtant ce film a réussi à me faire rire plusieurs fois. je vais pas trop en parler mais vraiment à partir de mardi on sentais que quelque chose clocher. Ce film a vraiment réussi à faire monter la tension et la fin juste wow. on aurait dit un rêve. Voici ma critique honnête en tant que personne qui hais les comédies françaises de base.

C’est une des lecture cursive du bac que j’ai du lire. J’ai honnêtement beaucoup aimé, le style d’écriture de Radiguet est vraiment beau a lire. Je me suis fait la remarque à travers l’entièreté du livre mais il y a des passages qui serait vraiment magnifique même seules. Je comprenais François, jusqu'à la 100eme page où juste j’ai abandonnébparce que il est juste devenu trop bizarre. Leur écart d’âge n’est pas SI dérangeant (même si 15/16-18 c’est hard un peu). Anyways, j’ai chialer plusieurs fois parce que juste beaucoup de phrase me parlent. Je comprends la passion de François en sois.

I still remember being 12 when this came out and forcing my best friend at the time to watch it with me in the park next to where we lived. i always come back to it once i feel a bit down to remember the """""good times""""" aka quarantine and covid. For 12 year old depressed me, i guess bo just spoke to me in a way no one else could. I used to watch his other specials as a kid after finding his song kys randomly on youtube at like 9. 2021 was such a lonely time in my life and i just felt glad that "someone" saw me. it feels weird to write about relating to a 30 year old man as a 12 year old but its okay. Can’t tell you how many times i cried to that funny feeling or all eyes on me alright those are my songs 🙏🙏

Every Ethel cain project is an immediate 5/5, 10/10, 1000/1000. I don’t speak about it often but oh my god Ethel's story is one of the things that genuinely changed me forever. This album was my introduction to her whole universe and i've been hooked since. I remember being in middle school and hearing ptolemaea for the first time and just being absolutely terrified in a way? Only her music gives me this feeling and i literally cannot explain it. This album has been tied to my soul since the first time I listened to it in full. Her lyrics are gorgeous, her voice is mesmerizing and i don’t think she ever made any bad songs? i know i easily give out 5/5 to albums but this one is probably in my top 5 or 3 favorite albums of all times. She takes you on a whole journey, literally none of the songs are skippable. I literally could develop whole essays for all 13 songs that are on here. It is obvious what i am about to say, but it is impossible for me to actually rank these songs because i think all of them are my favorites. but anyway here you go: 1.Sun bleached flies/ STRANGERS 2.Thoroughfare (very recent obsession i literally have it in my head playing all the time)/HARD TIMES 3.Televangelism HM:Gibson girl, a house in nebraska i can’t put the lyrics in quotes because id have to put the whole 1hr and 15 minutes worth of songs down so yeah they're ALL very personal to me and I wish i could talk about it to someone but i don’t think anyone would ever be interested by me yapping away about how "am i making you feel sick?" is literally me.

people are gonna kill me for this rating but ITS NOT MY FAULT OKAY. i like the show and it was recommended to my by one of my best friends. But because im an idiot, i decided that binge watching the first season in a day was the best way to watch it, which is (in my best friends opinion) not the best. The story is interesting and i like all the plots but OH MY GOD THERE ARE SO MANU CHARACTERS. It took me until ep SEVEN to really remember whos name is whos. I like the weird feverish feel that it has to it but in my opinion its too transparent, its not exploited enough. I hope to see more of it in season 2. And also im so sorry but i don’t get the hype (not yet at least! i hope my opinion changes 🙏🙏). I do adore Lauras character though and im excited to know what comes next.

I watched half of this in cinema class and the other half at home. I genuinely liked this film! I loved the acting in this at qome point Norma truly disturbed me. Norma also reminds me of my mother which is not a good thing. JOE DESERVED BETTER BROOO 💔💔

this movie opened my eyes. It's a true horror movie just by the way it shows the feeling of being trapped in the wrong body and staying closeted for your whole life. At the time, i was really struggling with my gender identity because i knew i was trans but i was extremely feminine and i suffered from deep dysphoria. Owen was too relatable and it broke me? i guess it made me realise i HAD to stop looking away from the glowing tv, i had to listen to myself. I had to BE myself before i would end up buried alive. It took me some time to actually do anything but now i can finally say that i am more myself than I ever was. Thank you A24 for this movie, it truly saved me.
