I will be working weekend 2 of Austin City Limits festival next week and I have the chance to see this amazing artist. I’m hoping he just does his newest album tbh because it’s toooo good. This song particular I think could sounds amazing live if he’s bringing an orchestra or ensemble. It’s all electronic tho so he might not. 😵‍💫

Heard this live tonight and it was an out of body experience. I embarrassed the fuck out of myself in front of the lead singer. Looked like a happy dear in headlights 😭

Yesterday I had the privilege to hear Olivia Rodrigo and Alanis Morissette’s version of this song live while working the very first Daisy Chain Fields Music Festival! It’s so frickin hot and I did have to work outside partially but I would gladly do it all again. I got to see so many other artist live and I got to help people have a better experience! Shoutout ADA, Olivia Rodrigo, and Barnstorm for the opportunity 🥹🤩

Favorite song off the album, has been on repeat since it came out. 🕺

Someone asked me if an iced latte had ice in it, so this song was fitting for today 😵‍💫

Been listening to the album on repeat 😌

I’ve been going insane recently but I have been listening to a lot of new songs too. I want to get back into posting so I can keep track of all the new music. This song in particular was interesting because I only started listening to Twenty One Pilots again because of ACL Music Fest and the day I was going to see them live I got let go 😭

I was talking to a random lady at the nail salon and we were talking about music and how it’s a much better topic to bring people together than politics 😭 While we were talking she asked me what genres I listen to and I mentioned R&B and soul music were my main genres but I listen to everything. She told me to listen to PawPaw Rod for R&B which is an artist I’ve already listened too but he isn’t an R&B artist. I proceeded to tell her that and she disagreed. Moral of the story is music can also not bring folks together just like politics 😭

Gambino don’t gotta say anything for his shit to be a banger fr

I have a picture of what I cooked but I didn’t make very many so the picture looks empty so enjoy the photo of basically me after I ate everything 😭 but I made shrimp scallion noodles with broccoli and it was delicious! Really cheffed it up today 👩‍🍳 #yummers

New Album !! Listend to this whole album today and it’s definitely going on the skate playlist 😌

I went to the mall today and they were playing songs like this one and I felt like I was listening to a DJ set

Not a new song but a good song. Wish Jack was still making tunes about food 😔

I got this book today because I wanted to get a new poetry book (even tho I got two books to finish already) and I’m on page 9. So far the poems really get you to think about the difference in education between Black folk back then to now and you can also see the importance of music back then as well. A lot of these poems so far are songs that were sung by slaves to communicate which today we still use music as a form as expression but most of these poems were used as a warning. It’s also interesting that you can’t find some of these songs online so you don’t know how they were sang. My rating rn is kinda low because I just started the book so I will be back when I finish it but so far good stuff in here!

Straight buns bruh
