lunar gay aliens 💗i love it. i love it. it’s so creative and the art was phenomenal. the music was superb and the lyrics, tagos sa heart. no boring moments at all and i loved all the characters. cried a bit. the twist was predictable but what’s important to me was their happy ending :) yashiyo you are so hawt + i lowk giggled at the lesbian handshake

i loved it. surprisingly, it was way funnier than i thought it would be. the ending is perfect for me, hideko is perfect as a man. the plot twists are perfect, theyre all just fooling each other. the sex scenes are manier than i thought, i had to mute coz my sister was sleeping next to me. i saw so many boobs. one scene was funny coz i thought this must be how it is being a vagina. i actually loved the three main characters, even the antagonist. i wasnt into the handmaidens initial personality but im glad it wasnt the truth. im glad i got to watch the extended version. the cinematography was great. basta i loved it.

can you tell i love women that are insane for their girlfriends? yeah. anyways. it was a short but entertaining read, at 22 chapters. the artstyle was topnotch, messy yet very skillful. the characters’ expressions were drawn well and added so much to the vibe. i was totally in love with jin-ah’s face the whole time. and while i’m not into blonde gyarus, i grew to love jina because of her personality and backstory. all in all a very good read :) also, i wish it has another poster ‘cuz it just looks so awkward seeing it here sa logs ko…

i’ve read this before, a year ago or two, and i loved it as much as i love it now. the contrast between the cutesy artsyle and the story themes just makes it so memorable. for me, isa ‘to sa webtoons where you’ll enjoy the characters talaga such as amy, camilla, peter, etc. but i love bibi the most :) i believe ‘yung more mature aspects of the plot nina amy and joy were handled well and so realistically. though honestly, i’m not all into amy’s character design sa simula, i liked it more bandang dulo na. and i guess it fits her personality rin. the linda taylor side stories, they were good too, even if i’m not much into short-haired goth girls. overall, one of my favorite GLs ever! i’m so glad sa happy ending.

this was so good, gets na gets kung bakit critically acclaimed. kahit nung simula na hindi pa niya ako masyadong nakukuha kita ko na agad ‘yung kaangasan ng cinematography. it wasn’t a slow start at the least though, i just needed something to grasp para maintindihan ‘yung pinapanood ko. pero even the beginning really captured the chaos that was central to the film but once i got the gist, i ended up enjoying the whole ride. ang creative ng concept nila. plus, ‘yung humor niya is ‘yung tipo ko talaga, so i was truly entertained by the comedic/absurdist aspect of the film. and i cried towards the end, i was touched by the characters and their relationships talaga, especially between evelyn, waymond, and joy

Third quarter perio just finished. Finally got to watch this. Got my motivation from Sian’s list. Cried over it. EDIT: this movie changed my life 4/14

it’s so fucking funny. the art style’s not the best and sometimes is awkward but it’s still so endearing, especially when hyo-in is crying and yejeon is smiling. the humor is great! it’s short but it’s just enough to tell a good story :) surely gonna reread, might save it in the future

honestly, this had been in my watchlist for a few months but i was hesitant to watch it because i usually can’t handle movies on family drama. but im so glad that i did this was so heartwarming and i loved all the characters. there were some points where i felt quite frustrated of course—the brother—but it’s just so realistic and complex that you can’t just totally hate them because some part of you understands in the cafeteria scene, when grace brought up the concept of nursing homes, i knew it was coming and i actually got pissed at her. and i knew that it was logical, and i know that we are never obligated to be burdened in taking care of our parents, but like jiahao, family is always a priority for me. the mother loves him so much. i loved the scene when the mother and the baby bobby took a picture. it’s like a cycle of life it was inspired by a real life drag queen sammi zhen. i loved the ending. i loved that it included everyone: david, the other friends. i loved it. this was so heartwarming and i dont regret watching it.

it was so… soft. hindi siya plot-driven, rather puno siya ng dialogue about lots of things, including love. it feels so authentic, and the chemistry/tension between jesse and celine is palpable. and i loved that ang realistic nila — ng ugali nila, ng situation, ng conflicts between their perspectives. haha gets ko talaga si celine sa buong film e, though i’m not gonna lie, nainis rin ako kay jesse roon sa palm-reading part. i live vicariously through you, celine. nasa to be watched ko siya, but i did it today because nagulat nalang ako paggising ko 8pm from an afternoon nap, sian sent me a message, asking me whether i’m free and if want ko ba mag-watch movie. haha it had been hours before i woke up that he sent it so i actually initially asked him if done na siya sa pag-watch, assuming he did so alone or with another friend, but he was like, “wat” and i hesitantly replied sa message na yes, and that makes me feel nice na he waited for my response. then he sent me a list of his to be watched and then i saw this on the list and immediately chose it for my husband ethan hawke so :) we watched it together through gmeet and loved it. anyway, bagay talagang may kasama ka while watching this movie but okay din to watch it alone to self-reflect and really just… think about things.

there was no dead air so i was paying attention sa movie talaga. even the start may action kaagad so there was something to look forward to every following scene. ang nice ng execution nila sa character ni abigail! like, her abilities as a vampire and as a ballerina are impressive on their own, but nung combo na it became deadly. tapos ang funny din, i loved the humor haha. like hindi pinilit yung comedic aspects. trip ko rin yung personality ng bawat main character; i ended up hating no one sa kanila haha even the antagonists. yung plot twists din sa simula, hindi namin sila na-predict, which was cool. sian didn’t really enjoy it daw kasi it wasn’t pure horror, pero i enjoyed it lots! funny, naisipan nilang panoorin ‘to without me even suggesting it kahit na nasa watchlist ko siya. it’s a nice coincidence. anyway, it’s great. worth a rewatch kapag i’m in the mood.

It took me lots of attempts because all sites I tried to watch it on does not sync the subtitles properly with the movie and the volume was just so weak and they’re Brits and I couldn't understand shit. So I had to put it off for months, really, and now I finally got to watch it! The site I used, it didn't have subtitles so I had to risk it and manually install a subtitle file from the internet, yet it still did not work and I found some other built-in option that finally worked. You don't understand how much ako nagsawa sa mga unang scenes sa paulit-ulit na panonood ko dati in trying to watch it. This success was a miracle from god. Anyway, I totally loved this. The humor was lovely, I actually laughed, though there are some overt jokes that didn't land simply because I didn’t understand. The funny scenes, for me, were less about the verbal jokes — though there were certainly those that were truly entertaining — but mostly the dramatic irony. Also, I liked all the characters. Walang tapon sa kanila. They might not have been perfect — whether that be morally or some of their lines and actions were just plain wonky or awkward — but they served the plot well and entertained me, really. Witty ‘yung movie, so there's weren’t much of a dead or boring scene kasi if it's not emotionally charged then it carries light humor. An important thing I truly appreciated from this was the fact na loveable si Heck, Rachel's husband. He was kind and funny and understanding, all throughout the movie, and most pertinently, he had been a good husband to Rachel. The truth is this: kakakasal lang nila, they were settling down, already prepared to face the rest of their life together, but instead Rachel fell in love with another person during their WEDDING. He had to have been the strongest character in the movie to handle that betrayal as kindly as he did, and so I’m glad na he ended the movie — literally, he ended the movie by looking at the camera while grinning cheekily — because his own true love story was beginning, the someday he had been missing out on while he was with Rachel. hmm, rachel. i was actually interested in this movie because i thought at first that rachel's actress looked like regina -- tjhe mean girl -- 's actress. she was a different one, but anyway. she looks so pretty with her hair up, she was gorgeous during her wedding. i could feel the dilemma she was experiencing throughout the movie, i think it's pretty ... good execution? yung process ng pagkahulog niya kay luce. she was quirky, and iconic nung scene nung nahulog yung ring niya sa punch. its nice that she accorded to what heck said nung nagkwento siya about sa pag-cheat ni rob, that kinda respect. luce, she was pretty. OHH, i actually read an anderperry fic with the imagine me & u setting, and i think i just loved everything. i liked luce, as i said i liked everyone, and yung tattoo niya sa likod niya was unexpected but nice. naano talaga ako sa the fact na naging hypocritical siya sa viewpoint niya sa pag-ibig, but love truly does make us dumb. i loved that she's smart, and yung answer niya sa immovable object vs unstoppable force. the almost kissing scene was great, didnt expect it.a dn the it was my birthday, i rmrmbered anderperry. god, the trope really is romantic. and the actual kissing scene is great too, when she lft the plac eand actually closed the door behind her, then it opened againa nd then bam . and then heck arrived and it was whoosh cooper was he's a nice character. kinda uncomfortable with how he was being pushy with luce, but aside from that he's kinda good. reminds me of chase from house. i actually didn't understand the ending with the baby, but uh, i -- OH, i like that he's a good friend to heck. he defended him and he told luce nung naging hipokrito siya sa sinabi niya. i wish may resolution sila ni luce but like, hey. hes funny -- even when hes being dumb-- and i think his uh, love lines ??? would have worked on someone cuz they were pretty witty and/or charming inmy opinion yung parents nila were fun characters din. i loved yung development ng parents ni rachel, and how they supported si rachel kahit na gusto ni mom ng apo AHAHAHAHAHA and mom ni luce was nice din. just, love them. ACTUALLY HAHA yung isang scene sa sasakyan na may kinapa yung mom ni rach, hindi ko alam kung kamay ba yun or tit-- i actually thought one of the parents was goign to be a problem since ganoon naman palagi yung issue, but it was nice to know that hindi, kahit na realistically it would make a whole lot more mess kasi kakakasal lang nina rachel and heck. even the kid, really. funny/ ah yung sa bridesmaids, damn i wish may naging resolution yung pagkakagusto nung isang bridesmaid ni rachel ng jowa. in the end naunahan pa siya ng bata. i really loved the grocery scene, it was one of the most entertaining scenes in the movie.i liked edie kahit kaunti lang scenes niya sobra. pati na rin pala yung reveal biglaan ng pagkabading ni luce, tapos biglang dumating si coop HAHA and then ano, yung mga brief scenes sa flower shop ni luce, brought a nice, funny touch. oh and that wedding scene was good, but if it was real lfie that would fuck me up. the ending credits and the ending song -- happy together -- was a nice tough.
