absolutely one of the best rofans I've read. the concept is funny (FL transmigrates, then freaks tf out cuz she's read so many rofans she has no idea which one she transmigrated into), the scenes are funny, the artstyle is funny. the best thing tho? the ML has an actual personality that's not just grumpy and cold for no reason!!!!!! AND BOTH LEADS HAVE SO MUCH CHEMISTRY???????!!!! man I'm SO happy i found and read this one haha. plot is also not bad, pretty similar to most other rofans but absolutely not bad at all. I do love it when good and bad mix and black and white don't always remain black and white. FL def gave me secondhand embarrassment those first few chps, which is an ick of mine, but I don't mind it if there's actual purpose to the thing, and what do you know, there was SO much purpose to every embarrassing scene she went through and it was always decked out in so much self-aware humour I couldn't drop it at all. I hated the concept initially, i despised it in fact. being forced into love by unknown bigshots sounds dystopian as hell. and as the ominous shot of Kate's next mission shows, some people should actually stay far far away from reproducing themselves. but now that I've finished this whole thing, i genuinely cannot help but love all the characters so so much. Anzu is SO cool, and I love my baby Tonta. I need to know who Kazuki's VA is, like cmon why does a high school kid have such a bone-penetrating voice aaaaaaaaaa. Riri has absolutely become my bestest babie rn I'd smooch them right back istg. I also like the inclusion of a genderless character like Riri. Kazuki's storyline was nerve-wracking tho. I was so scared by the whole notion, and I was only seeing it on-screen. I really had to sit back down and take deep calming breaths just to get back into a proper headspace after watching that part. Kazuki truly did deserve those hugs and so much more with everything that poor kid was going through.

spoiler alert: she does NOT forget her husband, though she does make a lot of money. and I get it, I wouldn't be able to forget him either if that was my husband lol. I usually don't rate rofans a full 5/5 since the stories are all so overlapping, but for this one I did because of how lovingly the characterisations in this manhwa have been done. each and every character has their own specific standout personality, not in a trope-y way but in a very real-life human being way. I've rarely ever seen side characters so loved by their creators in manhwas like this. it's also 100/10 funny, lots of 4th wall breaking humour images: 1. Tarcan's 3 wings. my new favourite manhwa characters (especially Mukali, the one with the short blond hair) 2, 3 and 4 - ML, Tarcan. 5. FL lying on ML's chest (that she thinks is bread) 6. pain,,,,, so much pain,,, the realities of war are so poignantly illustrated in this webtoon that you wouldn't be able to put it down. it's so genuinely raw and painful. it's quite hard to despise anyone but it doesn't overdo that to the point of it getting unrealistic. there are no winners in war. but it also does not shy away from showing how it's human greed that causes war and that while entire nations suffer, those in power — the ones who kept the war burning, hardly care to see beyond their immediate wants and needs. i did not want to read it since it looked so from, but I'm glad I did. this is truly one heck of a masterpiece.

AN ABSOLUTE MASTERPIECE I love these characters so much Thoughts by Ep. 16: Suwon is looking like a really good king. it almost feels like he could have been the protagonist. But we are watching from the perspective of Yona and that's why it feels so painful that both King Il and Yona, upon death (fake death for Yona), had no one to mourn them. In fact, they were both killed by people who loved them. People disliked King Il but apparently his child also never meant anything for anyone in that palace. Makes me wonder, what kind of a life did Yona live, for people to have been this apathetic to her death? Was Suwon at least affected by the meaningless killing of his childhood bestfriend? Or was the innocent child of his enemy also just a necessary sacrifice? Thoughts by end of S1: Suwon was affected goddammit. Can't even hate a probable antagonist in peace. WHY is he so good I hate it TT (I want him)

1. Funny 1000000/10 2. Plot: Freaking AMAZING as it starts out, loses steam by the end. Krisha's "destiny" is touted as something so big but it ends up to be really anti-climactic. 3. Length: 80 eps + side stories. I think it was planned to be longer but they had to shorten it for some reason? or at least that's the vibe i got. 4. Characters: I love love LOVEEEEEE the side characters smmmm. Lian is my baby boi and his involvement in ANRA was one of the most hilarious character traits I've seen in manhwaverse. Poor Miruhi can never catch a break with both his Emperor and Empress being constant escapees lol. My fave is def Krisha (FL) tho. Bbg's always caught up with the weirdest incidents lmfaoooooo if there's an incident, you'll find Krisha at the crime scene somehow. Biggest con is ML. he's USELESS. we didn't even see him till like ep 50. and then somehow they get married within the next 30 chps. biggest reason why it felt like the manhwa was shortened. he adds nothing to her life. Eugene treated her so much better. irl ofc it'd have been okay, ppl's feelings are vvv unpredictable, but this is a romance manhwa, why aren't you showing us the romance between the main leads? 😭😭 the only romance I noticed was with Eugene instead da heck?? this was supposed to be a lighthearted romance fantasy. I just finished s1 and,,,,, lighthearted where??? fairy tale where?????? I'm about to kms??? where is my happy ending?? I've been had guys, the stress-buster turned out to be extremely stressful TT

this is not a romance fantasy. there was barely any romance here. this was, essentially, the story of a mother trying to make up for all of her past mistakes towards her son. and that's what it remained for the entirety of the story. a mother finally realising her mistakes, multiple neglected children finally finding the love they deserve from an adult who was supposed to have raised them well, the admission that the true monster here was the deadbeat father, and even the neglected son from her past life finally finding solace in his mother's arms. this story had EVERYTHING I want from a story about looking after kids.

they say "with great power comes great responsibility". I raise you, "with great kindness comes great responsibility". there are some lessons I'm taking away from this manhwa, but there are just as many lessons I would rather not take at all. the "pushovers" being called "kind" is one of the ones I won't take. i definitely do love that the true victims get exonerated, but no, that does NOT change that you refused to listen to reason and to the people who have loved you all your life for a man whose sincerity you barely get to see. whatever your reasons or intentions, nothing changes the fact that you caused the death of everybody who's ever truly loved you. that is not being kind, that is being blind. FL once said that pushovers are scary but their families are scarier. I truly agree. definitely no one can be scarier than ppl who see their child waste away cuz of what they call her "kind heart" and still think it's a good thing. they taught her to be kind, but they didn't teach her any form of self-preservation, any self-confidence or even self-esteem. basically they only taught her how to give without ever teaching her what moderation means lol. another thing I will NOT be taking away from this manhwa is the droves of ppl willing to throw away everything and hurt so many ppl in the name of love. Herman betraying all of his family for her? locking up his own mother, and making his own father go through so much? and in the original timeline, his mother would have died while being confined like this. does any of this make fucking sense???? using the name of YOUR "love" to disregard all the love others have shown you?? your love is all that matters, but others' love for you does not??? that's the same problem i have with Evaldina. neither of them had what actual love is. they were just selfish, greedy but broken individuals who had probably never had someone beat some sense into them like FL does with her brother. in short: they're spoilt brats. my apologies for the word vomit, but my unadulterated rage at whatever this love bs was had to come out some way. those were just some of the things I disliked. there's a lot more that I did like. my biggest lesson was something FL said: "forgiveness is a choice but apologies are a given." this is not something i have thought about before, but I think I'd like to make it a central epithet of my life moving forward. I have been hurt by a lot of people and I have done a lot of hurting myself. have i apologised to all the people I've hurt (unintentionally)? I don't think so. but the past is something I can't change so maybe, it wouldn't be so bad if i could live like this in the future. if I have an opportunity in the future to apologise to the people I feel guilty towards, I would like to take it. this manhwa also has a happy ending that left me truly happy. it ended with a historical record of the reign of Emperor Theore, and it was the cutest thing ever. I'm heartbroken over Johan tho aaaaaaaaaaaaa my baby boiii. i truly love how it was resolved with Evaldina. I still don't like her, and if I were a part of the story I'd never forgive her for all the things she's done. she was about to commit genocide ffs c'mon we need to start punishing ppl in manhwas proportionately. all of this for just a stupid apology man my bp's about to rise again istg. but i digress. anyways, I'm glad that the asshole First Emperor got called out for his bs publicly mwahahaha. it's been a while since a manhwa has made me think so much. I'm glad.

This was SO good omggggg Both NCs aren't just supposed to be smart, their thought processes are shown and they're truly so goddamn smart. the manhwa did show vs tell SO well. even the art for the first two seasons was so good, it meshed really well with the story. i especially loved how the prince was shown to be so "princely" even while dealing with his love. it did always irk me how the cold MLs would do a whole 180 upon their personality when in love with the FL. that's just not realistically possible but it was fine since it's fiction, fiction gets poetic licence. but reading this was gratifying cuz the prince remained true to his personality (as expressed through the art). that's not to say he remained cold and rude, he just didn't turn into melted icecream as soon as he met the FL lol. he remained haughty, but not rude or disrespectful. I also love how realistic the timelines are. FL lost weight over months and years, not instantly. she also stopped at a very normal weight level and started maintaining instead. love when creators handle issues like this with such finesse and grace. though ofc a lot of my fave things changed with the drop in quality in the newest season. artstyle changes dp usually end up dropping quality. tho I wouldn't say the artstyle change was as bad as some others I've come across (I'm looking at you, Cross My Heart and Hope To Die), but again I did lose my haughty prince so huhu Images: 1-3: the ML. i find this man so incredibly tantalizing istg 4: my fave characters. the spies from the prince and the black society, who are basically drama-enthusiast besties

back into that manhwa obsession we go aw yeaaaaaaa SO funny and I'm so happy I'm finding new worthwhile long manhwas again. i especially love FL. she's not OP, she's vvvv ordinary (personality-wise, otherwise she's got that magical girl power drip). she's actually weak asf lol. but she's SO fun haha I'd kill to be friends with her. she's ADORABLE and she's got the most genz reactions to everything and it getting me rolling every time. she gets pulled into her fave novel and the first thing she does is to trek across the country, go to the guy she's a fan of and ask him to marry her HAHAHAHAHAHA. another thing I love a LOTTTTTT about this webtoon is the fun friendships it shows between FL and other men. they're not portrayed as second MLs at all, they're just purely her friends, especially Sebi. it's vvvv refreshing to see after hundreds of webtoon's romanticising every male-female relationship in existence. images: 1. my fave character, the high priest bestie Sebi, being carried to work in his bed cuz he can't be bothered to wake up during the day (he doesn't wake up through this transfer process btw) 2, 3, 4. more instances of Sebi being an absolute icon. THIS IS ACTUALLY SO GOOD????? I love FL sm istgggg. ML has a wolf cut haha which makes sense since he's a wolf werebeast. Their relationship is SO healthy, I feel vvv relieved. I'm so annoyed with all those red flag asf couples most of these manhwas like to promote. But this one feels so genuine, and you can actually see their relationship develop, go through the most understandable arguments, and come out on top. You get to see how they're learning to understand and accept each other. And ofc the revenge our FL is planning is so satisfying 🌚 one thing that does put me off is how every man who sets his eyes on FL gets so easily entranced. but I feel like that might actually be a plot point.
