Gireesh AD's observation skills should be studied. This man writes such relatable characters like it's nothing. The amount of details he puts into each of his characters is impeccable. BKU is such a heartwarming, cute, and beautiful movie that possess immense repeat watch value. It's a simple love story between Justin and Ashley, played by Nivin Pauly and Mamitha Baiju. But deep down, it felt much more than a usual rom-com. Nivin Pauly as Justin is just chef's kiss. Such a Nivin coded, tailor made role for him, which he performed with such charm. It was merely a cakewalk for Nivin. Mamitha Baiju as Ashley is irreplaceable. She was graceful and amazing that even after the movie, we can't think of anyone else to replace her with. I would definitely choose this as one of her career best roles. Peridot. Seeing Sangeeth Prathap in the cast of a movie nowadays is pure joy. Not only is his comedic timing perfect, but he carries the roles given to him with such precision, he feels like one of our best friends who's always right by our side. Roshan Shanavas and Suresh Krishna came in as a surprise when I thought Sangeeth Prathap was gonna carry the humour side. Every sequence containing Roshan and Suresh Krishna were simply a laugh riot. Shyam Mohan... Keeping aside his immaculate comedic timing, what an amazing performer he is. All the references in this movie worked really well and created many laugh worthy moments throughout the movie. Every other artists who acted in this movie have given their 100% to make this movie a great success... Vishnu Vijay's music was just magical. I would definitely go for a repeat watch and this movie is going on my "Permanent comfort movie" folder.

Holy shit this series gets good with each passing season... This season was shorter than the first two, but the impact was equally conveyed... This season introduces a bunch of new characters and some recurring characters from the previous seasons. Lauren Cohan as Bela Talbot was just fuckin' chef's kiss... Even though she only appears in few episodes, the character was both lovable and hateable at the same time and Lauren Cohan carried out her role exceptionally well... One of the hottest female characters in Television history, according to me. 🙂🙃 This season also dives deep into the brothers' relationship with Bobby and I'm glad that I got to see more of Bobby in this season... Starting season 4 ASAP... 😌

I never doubted Christopher Nolan even when he was criticised heavily for his casting choices in this film. I knew he would deliver no matter what... And boy was I right... Yet another masterpiece from Sir Christopher Nolan. The only grief I have is that of not being able to watch it in the true IMAX format... For that matter, this movie was my first movie I watched out of a regular theatre screen. I watched this in EPIQ and I'm glad I chose this movie to be my first... I went into the movies with just a basic knowledge of the plot and that made the movie more engaging and astonishing for me... The story revolves around Odysseyus after the War of Troy, how he finds his way back home and in the process, himself. Matt Damon as Odysseyus is indeed the backbone of the film... His performance was exceptional. He easily conveyed Odysseyus' moral ambiguity and conscience with such ease. The last 15 minutes of the movie was nothing less than chef's kiss... The visuals and visual quality were top notch. Every frame could be turned into a wallpaper. They way they've captured the scenes from the boat in which they travel is a wonder for me. The locations they've shot in also adds to the visual aesthetics of the movie. The music and score by Ludwig Göransson was nothing less than worldclass... Coming to other performances, I especially loved Anne Hathaway's performance as Penelope. The long wait of her's for her husband to return and the growing pressure on her to remarry and all were immaculately communicated to the audience by her. Tom Holland as Telemachus was good... Robert Pattinson was amazing and particularly loved Himesh Patel as Eurylochus. There are three instances of the film that's still stuck in my head, even after as I'm writing this review. These instances made my eyes well up and induced an intense goosebumps throughout my body... I would suggest everyone to watch this in the best theatre available to you... Crafts like these and their experiences shouldn't be missed...

WTFFFFF!!!!! MAHNNNN THAT WAS UNSETTLING AFFFF...!!!! Even though I've not seen Kane Parson's YT videos involving the backrooms, I was aware of the basic concept regarding the backrooms. But after watching this, I think I might research more on the lore of the backrooms and surely watch Kane Parson's YT videos about the backrooms... The movie is technically brilliant... I feel the horror in this movie is conveyed through the uncertainty of the backrooms. Like, you aren't certain if something is behind you or hunting you and that genuinely gives the creeps... The film deals with the theme of existentialism rather maturely... The found footage style visuals were a cherry on top for me... Those parts felt more unsettling and eerie for me. And need I say about the performances!? A24 doesn't fail to surprise me time and time again...

Oh my fucking goddddd... What was thattttt!!!???? A simple and straightforward story and screenplay elevated by the performances... Curry Barker is a genius... Wanted to watch this in theatres but couldn't because of my time constraints and CBFC fuck all of censoring shit in India... Watched it today following it's digital release and boy I made a big mistake of not watching it in the theatres... The way they've used lighting in this movie is so creepy AF... Every time Nikki's in the shadow, I got chills running through my spine... And the way her eyes glowed in the dark... Damnnnn... They know their shit and they did it... Perfectly... Michael Johnston did his part of playing Bear decently... But the show stealer is obviously... Inde "fucking" Navarette... Holy shit what was that performance... At times I felt she really was possessed... What were those sudden expression changes!? God dayummmm... Loved every second when she was on screen... On a second thought, being single doesn't seem bad at all after watching this movie lol...

I would give it a rating greater than 5 stars if it was an option... Fuck the guy who invented exams and kept me from watching this masterpiece in theatres... What a movie mahnnnn... These people had me praying for a rock 😭 Ryan Gosling does it again... I definitely won't miss any of his future movies in theatres... The visuals... Oh my fucking goddddd... Fuckin' chef's kiss 🤌🏻 Absolutely absolute cinema fr..!! ✋🏻😌🤚🏻 👎🏻

Rental Family, directed by Hikari is such a soulful movie that leaves a mark with us, even after the movie ends. The concept is so unique and was very new for me due to which I got to enjoy it thoroughly. The performances by each and every actor deserves lots and lots of praises. Each of them performed really well. Brendan Fraser plays the role of a struggling actor in Japan. His struggle to find purpose in life takes a turn when he gets a gig with an agency who helps strangers by providing them with people for stand-in roles. Here, Brendan Fraser's Philip is sent to enact two roles: one of a reporter who wants to get an interview from Kikuo Hasegawa, a former actor, who has developed dementia and his daughter fears of him not being remembered by anyone. The second is a small child named Mia, who's mother wants her to get her into a prestigious school and hires him to pose as Mia's father. With the passing of time, he starts to form genuine bonds with the two clients that begins to blur the line between his acting and reality. Brendan Fraser has done an amazing job to convey the moral ambiguity of what the character is going through very well. This movie is about rediscovering one's self, purpose and the beauty of human connection.

Love how they've explored more of Dean's character in this season... Also... Wildest, most random season yet... Had many laugh worthy moments... Jensen Ackles is just really good... Also love how the season ended... Onto season 6...

I'm sad that I couldn't catch this in theatres... Such an exceptional craft... The primary reason for watching this movie since it's announcement was undoubtedly due to its crew. Chidambaram proved once again to be one of the most amazing film makers of this generation. Writing by Jithu Madhavan was truly exceptional and cinematography by Shyju Khalid was just out of this world. Special mention to Sushin Shyam for the bang on soundtrack. Coming to performances, Adisheshan, who played the younger version and Muhammad Zinaan as the older version of the boy were both just immaculate... Farzana Palathingal as the mother did a phenomenal job to convey the emotions of a mom. I was surprised to see Jean Paul perform so well. Although I've seen his other works, honestly none have struck with me till I saw this one. But still, with all of these people giving such stellar performances, the character who stuck in my mind even after the credits rolled was Abbas played by Tovino Thomas. Dude gave a never seen before performance for this movie and this has to be one of my favourite characters played by Tovino. The emotional depth he brings to this character is a joy to watch and at the same time painful... I felt a weight in my heart when he says "Pettammakku vendi alle... Valathachane ottaam...". Truly his career best performance according to me. A must watch... "Amma varum..."

I ABSOLUTELY FUCKING HATE MYSELF FOR MISSING THIS IN THE THEATRES... AAAAGGHHHHHH... Since I saw the trailer, I was very certain that I'd watch this in the theatres, but my life had other plans... Got so busy and held up to a point where I missed this particular movie on the big screen... MJ... what can I say!? What a legend!? I used to watch his MV's as a kid on my Uncle's computer. He had most of his MV's stored on his computer as he was a huge fan... I still remember the day I saw the Thriller MV and being scared AF... Jaafar Jackson is the perfect embodiment of Michael... And he has rooted himself as Michael. He was more than perfect... And the usage of his iconic songs... Mahnnn... I got goosebumps and my eyes got watery each time his songs came on the screen... And I liked the fact that they showed the BTS's of the songs rather than making it into full blown performances(which I know most people were expecting) which shine light on his personal life and being a man of the people rather than being a performer... That was a really beautiful touch which I personally loved... Overall, if I had a time machine and cash to travel the world, I'd go back in time and watch this movie in the best IMAX theatre in the whole fucking world... PERIODT.

Arguably the best Tom Holland Spider - Man movie without a doubt... Sure No Way Home had its moments but this one goes a bit beyond. This movie has zero BS... No unwanted cameos, no nostalgia bait, just Peter Parker and Spider - Man... Literally a broke nobody, who fights crime just because he wants to keep the world safe, with no family or friends... Also he tries to figure out his metamorphosis through trial and error... The action choreography and fighting style, which were inspired from the Insomniac games were just top notch. Jackie Chan and his stunt team deserves high praises for those action blocks... I love how they've implemented new camera angles to experience what Spider - Man experiences. The first swing sequence with the POV shot was just mind blowing. I also really loved the dynamic between Spider - Man and Punisher... John Bernthal as Frank Castle was just impeccable. Zendaya and Jacob Batallon had less screen space and they've done their jobs quite well... Sadie Sink's character and characterization was done really very well. Can't wait to see what the future holds. In a way, Tom Holland's portrayal of Spider - Man feels like we're on a journey with him unlike Tobey and Andrew's Spider - Man movies. Along the years we've watched Tom, as an excited, intelligent teenager, who has no idea what to do, to his journey to a matured Peter Parker/ Spider - Man and I love that they've treated this version in this specific way... Makes him more relatable to me if I'm being honest. "With great power, comes great responsibility." Thank you Stan Lee for giving such a wonderful character... Missing your cameos these days...

I could watch this amazing show, all thanks to my Instagram feed. Really loved the story from the get go, even though it's a simple and cliched one. My single ass was happy watching two people fall in love. I guess something's wrong with me. (Or is it)? Each and every actors played their roles exceptionally well. Especially the two central characters, Hannah Wells played by Ella Bright and Garrett Graham played by Belmont Cameli. During my research of the show before watching it, I came to know that it's based off of a series of books written by Ella Kennedy. As I haven't read the books, I can't comment on how much justice the show did to the book. But to be honest, this show really captivated me to give the book series a try. Enough said, let me rewatch ts once again...😭😌

As Vineeth Sreenivasan's Mukundanunni says "ഒരു കവിത പോലെ..." The magical realism in this movie is just phenomenal. Most awaited, and a great rewatch experience.

Weird asf movie... But fuck did I love it... The fragmented narrative of the movie gives us a feeling that there isn't much progress to the story... And you would be right... The film solely focuses on the vibe over the plot. And it delivers brilliantly... The movie is aesthetically so rich... The film is set in a Neo - Noir Hong Kong and focuses on three central characters - a hitman, his agent and a mute guy who apparently went mute after eating expired pineapple... What had me hooked to this movie to begin with was the cinematography by Christopher Doyle... The way he has shot the neo - noir Hong Kong, his use of extreme wide angle lenses and distorted close up shots were in a way, new to me... Shots felt raw... With shaky camera movements and misaligned frames... Editors William Chang and Wong Min - lam elevated these cinematic shots to the next level... I especially enjoyed the use of step printing effects in the movie... This is the first ever movie I watched of Wong Kar - Wai and I am eager to explore more of his filmography. The use of the lines "I'm a lazy person... I like people to arrange things for me" in two different scenarios of the movie was such a brilliant move.

Was in the mood to watch something feel good today and this is what I ended up with, even though it's a rewatch. All credits goes to Abishan Jeevinth for conceiving this gem of a movie. The story, screenplay and direction are simply top notch. Dude even acted so good as the drunkard guy. As for the performances, the standout would be Kamalesh as Mulli followed by any others. Whenever blud was on screen, it was a laugh riot. Sasikumar was brilliant in the role of Das. It was so good to watch Simran. Mithun Jai Shankar as Sasikumar's eldest son was simply brilliant. His monologue about why he didn't talk to Sasikumar's character was delivered flawlessly by him. The love track between Mithun's character and Yogalakshmi's character was so cute. Finally, my man... Sean Roldan... What a work... Hats off...

Loved this season as well.... I particularly loved the 1st and 20th episodes as they carried an emotional element... Although Season 2 was more emotional than the first season, these two specific episodes stood out for me... Amazing performances from Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki when it comes to season 2 as well... I'm starting to understand why this series has a lot of fans... Shit's so funnnn...
