gotta admit this is my comfort series, haven't found another one to replace it. waiting for s4🙂↕️ i absolutely love the characters, especially the mechanics lololol they're ones to keep this series fun and interesting for me. and i usually hate romance BUT THE ROMANTIC TENSION IN THIS SERIES HAS BEEN DRIVING ME CRAZY FOR YEARS (since s1), never felt this invested in a couple (if it can be put that way) before... like yeah i get it if it's a slow-burn, BUT 3 SEASONS??? the slow-burn is BURNING.

great. just great. absolutely a masterpiece. love the characters, the conflicts, the plot, the moral delivery.

this movie broke me. he fei is such an ungrateful cowardly prick that doesn't deserve an angel like muzi. he was right about thinking of himself a loser. CUZ YES. HE IS A LOSER TILL THE END. at first i played at x1.5 speed bcs it seems boring, i even searched for spoilers on google and still didn't find it interesting. though once i finished this movie... i was left feeling devastated. crazy how this movie with sweet cinematography and a plot wrapped in a heart-wrenching story leaves SUCH A PLOT TWIST.

⚠️ this will be a rant. really wanted to ugly cry but i couldn't. i would've felt embarrassed bcs i watched this with him around late september/early october last year. he was the one suggesting to watch this movie and even said, "but maybe you'll relate more to this film, since you're the one who's closer to your grandparents between the two of us." and yeah i spent half the movie crying silently though i couldn't hold back my sobs several times😭 after the movie was over, i still couldn't say anything (MY VOICE WOULD CRACK) and he finally broke the silence, "you okay, may?" GODDAMN I WASN'T OKAY but we still talked about the movie afterwards (idc about my voice anymore)

i've got no words... this movie is just tragic. didn't expect the plot twist at all though i've suspected there's smth fishy. (-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩___-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩-̩̩̩) i love this one. no cringe jumpscares whatsoever🙂↕️

just rewatched. absolute masterpiece. made me ugly cry when mu-yeong dies in chang's arms. their bond is what kept me watching the whole series. it's just devastating how he dies before he could even see his wife and their son :(( and i love how this drama had 0 romance of the main character lmao.

ahh such a good movie😩 despite the fact that he's not her biological child, jiahao still takes care for his mother wholeheartedly (before he found out that he was adopted). he is also the one who takes the initiative to help his mother in many ways, even creating many new memories with her :((( he is INDEED a good child. when his brother refused to take care of their mother on the grounds that he's busy working, and his sister-in-law offered to send their mother to a nursing home, he refused. he chose to take time out of his busy schedule to take care of her and make her happy. also, learning from jiahao and david's relationship, we always know that it's important to have a supportive partner.

messy adulthood... loneliness... such. i started watching this series bcs i found this iconic dialogue on the instagram : "i love you." "it'll pass." i thought this would end tragically bcs from the quote itself it sounds like the love is one-sided, but guess what? once i watched the whole series, it's actually not tragic, at all. well, the love story doesn't end with a perfect ending but it's still a good one. they acknowledge each other's feelings and the most important for that kind of love story is—no one leaves. though i would say, fleabag's romance with the priest isn't what impressed me fully. sure, the priest storyline and his dynamic with fleabag kinda shocked me, but it left me like, "okay..." honestly, i value fleabag and boo's friendship more than anything else in this series. i can't pour my feelings onto words but... their connection makes me feel strange in a way i can't explain. and i know that people keep talking about the 'tragic' priest romance, but i think the real tragedy here is fleabag's loneliness. boo's death, how her dad loves her but not like her the way he likes her sister (claire), how she tries to numb the emptiness in her life through sex, jokes, and chaos... and the tiny detail of how her godmother paints the back of her head while her sister gets the full portrait is just... awful. good series.
